Dude the fact you deleted youre OG post says alot about this new "defense" honestly I was just being a dick to see you're reaction & it didnt disappoint (even if it's now goneI really did not appreciate returning to this after years, only to discover an inferior product. Picture this: you've just spent the last few hours grinding away, and when you finally decide to approach Grug, you find him to be a much tougher foe than any of the others you've faced. That is, if combat weren’t so mundane. Anyway, you decide to return better prepared, as he's too powerful, leading you to believe your character would logically seek to come better prepared, therefore the developer must have considered this choice too. But no, you can't do that. The moment the priestess joins your party, you are restricted to moving only south on the map. No potions for you. What a poor design choice. This is why I have acted in such an indigent manner, pure rageful spite.
I didn’t; the mods did. So your entire premise for this post falls apart, clownboy.Dude the fact you deleted youre OG post says alot about this new "defense" honestly I was just being a dick to see you're reaction & it didnt disappoint (even if it's now goneso sad). But honestly you do realise you could have gone on you're merry life, just moved on from this game without any grand (attention seeking) announcement & no one would have cared. Honestly if u beleive SWS to be a superior product then good for you, no judgments here. Butno one on here cares that much it's PORN games, come on lol.
Anyway you can keep arguing a point if you like, its moot, BUT just know I will not care & this is just fun to read.
Oh god no please I cant stop laughing at the Reddit level of speech!copium of the highest degree.
Oh in that case I apologise for saying you deleted it. Still a shame, I was mid way writing my reply when it said I couldnt. Oh well.I didn’t; the mods did. So your entire premise for this post falls apart, clownboy.

I obviously enjoyed this game enough to sink consecutive hours into it. That’s what annoyed me so much. I don’t want to get NTRed simply because I wasn’t properly informed, nor was I able to change my plan once I was fully aware of the situation. If you aren’t meant to be aware of Grug’s presence, which I completely understand, there should be a third option: “We’ll come back better prepared.” If you choose to negotiate, there should be another option available now that you have been completely informed of the circumstances: “We should come back better prepared.” Once you have made that decision, you should be free to wander the map as usual: to go to Greyport, to visit the well, or whatever else you need to do to resolve the situation. After all, roleplaying games are about putting yourself in those characters’ shoes, and if I weren’t able to defeat a dangerous foe but knew that magical potions existed and would likely make the fight winnable, then I would go and acquire them. Given that, it should be an option. Its a very very valid critism and if you feel like you got robed of your time that feels wasting because of a design flaw. i even will report it to tinkerer due it feels bad indeed.
but the '' Dont @ me'' was bit immature, due its bait for a response. if you feel things should be changed or valid feedback on certain situations that feels there isnt a way back, just report them to me in DM if you want.
All feedback is welcome , the good and the bad. Personaly i just dont want to have the thread turn in to throwing mud from one to the other, and prevent that people will start doing the same to people in the Sins thread.
maybe I shouldn't have dismissed your cliams as skill issue, but did you quit the game because of the encounter with grug?I obviously enjoyed this game enough to sink consecutive hours into it. I will regrind and properly prepare before I go, as I would have done had it been possible after I learned of his existence. Given that I saved several times after the priestess joined my party, I now need to restart entirely. I won’t lie; it does anger me somewhat.maybe I shouldn't have dismissed your cliams as skill issue, but did you quit the game because of the encounter with grug?
by the time you face Grug, one should have already learned o prepare for the unexpected. besides you should already have magic to help you with the fightI will regrind and properly prepare before I go, as I would have done had it been possible after I learned of his existence. I agree, I really should've had the potions on me regardless of whether I thought I needed them or not. That was foolish of me. I did find one of your earlier posts, regarding the Grug encounter, in which you advise to seek out Erevi before even breaking Zivah's curse. This is what I plan to do now, as I am hopefully properly informed myself this time.by the time you face Grug, one should have already learned o prepare for the unexpected. besides you should already have magic to help you with the fight

All very valid points, the only defence I can give is it was early days in Tinkerer's first & only dev endeavour. Hes gotten better, not perfect, but better in the later stuff.I obviously enjoyed this game enough to sink consecutive hours into it. That’s what annoyed me so much. I had no potions of any kind on me, at all. Then whatsherface got herself killed and he out DPSed me.Grug is one of the easiest opponent...You just need two Venom Potions and he dies really fast.
make sure to get the dog from the petstore, he'll take on a hit or twoI had no potions of any kind on me, at all. Then whatsherface got herself killed and he out DPSed me.![]()

The shop was added to Greyport in a very late stage update, most likley in response to people complaining of nowhere to buy potions. It's still out the way from the early game so unless you know about it you're probably not realise its avalable.plus potions shouldn't be available till you find the chalice, buying potions in greyport is an oversight on Tinkerer's part
Always best to be prepared in this game. First time I went down the well in "Trouble At The Well" not really knowing what to expect (even though the game kinda warned be to prep first) I was absolutely reemed by them lil fucks!I agree, I really should've had the potions on me regardless of whether I thought I needed them or not.
I ran out of stamina when fighting the orcs in the temple and had to fight them exhaustedAlways best to be prepared in this game. Seriously I HATE Grumpkins!
