What happened to the cooking recipes? I have to make inner for Erevi and the only cooking recipe is a Bushel of Vegetables. I need to make 2 steaks.

What version are you playing? This setup is new. I included what I see at Erevi's kitchen pot.

Have you made steaks before? Jenny teaches you during the quest to get Alice's key. If ypu haven't done that, you probably don't have the recipe yet.

Depends on what you're looking for. Individuals want different things thematically from an orc girl: Uglycute, Muscle Mommy, dominate a physically powerful woman, transgressive, convert a seriously dangerous enemy to a genuine LI, human except for skin color & dentition, etc. Maghda fits the bill for some of these (also things like fat or giantess) for some people.

I commend Tinkerer for even having an ogress in PQ, despite my avoiding her entirely after retrieving Edgar's stuff. I do hope for an actual orc girl eventually. :)
I mean the problem is that Maghada doesn't really fit the bill for any of the stuff you mentioned, she's not muscle mommy, she's not really a serious dangerous enemy to a li, she's not physically imposing. I guess yu can argue she's "ugly cute". Really she just seems like a monster girl. Orcs aren't monster girls they're just another fantasy race like elves and dwarfs. They just tend to be more tribal and aggressive and more likely to do evil stuff. One of the main things people tend to get out of orc li in these is a warrior woman, muscle mommy type of li. I'd say Frida fits that a lot better than Maghada
the problem with adding an orc is that we have the goblins feeling all the roles an orc love onterest would fill, except for muscle mommy but we got the giants for that

This is exactly what I am trying to do. My Cook Book only has the Vegetable Bushel. I am using version 3.62, the newest. I only downloaded it yesturday. I've been playing the game since version 2 something. In previos versions you didn't have to learn the recipe. Thank you for answering the question. I haven't got the quest for her key yet.

I mean orcs are literally just green humans. Seems weird to insist that they're monster girls to you just because you don't find that attractive
.........bro have you not read or seen Lord of The Rings? The book that created the orc? They are literally bigger Goblins (the lore be tripping a lil' but I assure you the words Goblin & Orc in LoTRs is interchangeable in the books).

In the books theres no females at all they are just born of the earth & are twisted, monsterous cannibal brutes that exist to serve as mooks of the big bad.

It was only later as they became more integrated into modern fantasy (through D&D, Blizzard, Warhammer & Elder Scrolls as some examples) that they were toned down in the monster department. Mostly, I mean males usually still look more monsterous but the point remains.

Orcs are monster girls, it's just alot of anime, porn & a few other sources like to tone them down to "green people with tusks".

Depends on the individual's definition of "monster girl." Also, how they're depicted in an IP.

Never said I found them unattractive, and did say I hope we get an orc girl. FTR I avoid Maghda after the first, required meeting because of her dietary flexibility, rather than her appearance. ;)

99% of fantasy races are more influenced by dnd and other rpgs than lord of the rings, where orcs look more like more like green humans with tusks. That's the whole reason why we even have stuff like dark elves and halflings instead of hobbits. Lotr elves are immortal beings and there is only a singular race of elves divided into different cultures. Peasant quest having stuff like dark elves and swamp elves, and other fantasy settings doing the same thing is more of a dnd thing and the influence of Lotr is kind of overstated as most fantasy tropes people are familiar with didn't even come from lotr.

Even in lotr Orcs are pretty much nothing like the typical portrayal of orcs, and orc is just another term for goblins. Lotr is not relevant at all. Since peasant quest is pretty heavily inspired by dnd and other rpgs so it's really silly to insist that orcs are monster girls when again they're just green humans with tusks in those settings.

Orcs are not monster girls any more than elves or mermaids are monster girls.

When the new crafting system (including kitchen stuff) was introduced, a number of things were changed. One of those is not being able to butcher rabbits/boars/bears for steaks until after you have Jenny do it for you. (Technically the steaks thing reverted to an earlier version where that was always required, but most players came along after it was changed to not needing to see Jenny.)

There are four situations that will unlock asking Jenny for that: Alice's key, Erevi's date, distracting Balder, and getting Frida to forgive you after the giants' hunting grounds arc. Seems to me you need to visit Jenny now. :)

the rason is that Tolkien enterprise thretened to sue Gary Gaynax for copyright infringement
Exactly, but it doesn't change the fact that most tropes that people use when it comes to fantasy races are closer to the DnD portrayals than the lotr versions.

Peasant's quest is basically just an r rated dnd game. Lotr is kind of irrelevant here.

Orcs are not monster girls any more than elves or mermaids are monster girls.
Orcs are consistently tagged as monster girls on manga, anime, and hentai sites. As are mermaids, ogres/oni, vampires, and so on even when they are depicted as essentially human. Elves are only rarely tagged as monster girls, usually when they're more like fae than "humans with pointy ears."

I've also never ever ever seen a mermaid or elf tagged as a monster girl. Not any fairies either. Monster girls are usually more stuff like lamias and harpies.

Are there any other recipes like that? I made the 'special pastries' already but, they didn't show up in the cook book yet. Do you need to give one to someone first? What about the other recipes? Mead is probably the Giants. Do you get meal from this quest ( Erevi's dinner )?

There are a few sure, but in terms of the races there are a lot more dnd stuff. The way Everi described dark elves for instance is pretty much the Drow to a T.

Also irrelevant. Japanese orcs are very different from western orcs and are more like pigmen like Ganon, just like Japanse Kobolds are dog people, while western Kobolds are always lizards. Japan takes most of their fantasy races from wizardry so they tend to be different from western stuff. Like I said Japanese orcs are just giant bipedal pigs in most media. I've also outright never seen a mermaid or elf ever and I mean ever tagged as a monster girl in literally anything View attachment 4564440 View attachment 4564453
Those orcs look similar to some depictions of goblins / kobolds before tolkein. Tolkein invented orcs / orks. He originally called them goblins. Before Tolkein's descriptions and the illustrations they would inspire there was no universal or agreed upon appearance for goblins, or any kind of magical creature for that matter (faeries, pixies, fae, brownies, hobs, hobgoblins, kobolds, etc.). There was also no clear distinction between any of them and they were often used interchangeably. Often a single folk story would have multiple variations with the specific magical creature changing to suit the area or language of the people telling the story. The understanding of all of magical creatures was vague and mysterious because their nature was to go mostly unseen. They all could have a range of moral alignments and were often depicted as mischievous or playful. Often people would blame them for things that went missing or attribute to them things that were beyond explanation.
