Is the "NOTHING in this game (except for the day/night cycle) is time-sensitive." sentence in the walkthrough still relevant?
can you be more clear? as in time to fail quest? so far as i k now only the vampire trall quest
or in this time frame you need to do this ? (we got like a vampire quest part in the big time you need to do in the evening/night)

If u don't complete Alice's wedding arc before a certain point (I believe you need the Family Farm & Evolved Cocoon at Tower, doiluble check the WK) before the quest Alice In Wonderland triggers then you'll skip/fail that questline. And if you don't give Zsofia the Red Dress before they move in the Castle I think that fails too.

There are also some events that are unique. If you have won back Victoria then u can unlock a 3some with her & ED during Waystones Part-2 that can be missed. Or the fact that if u complete Beth's questline before completing Gwynneth's then you get the Thug Big Boss, instead of Eckhardt.

Yes, as in "Would I fail any quests if I go around grinding levels/gold?"

I see. So, there are only points of no return when it comes to quests but no actual time (day) limit on quests aside from the 7 day limit in the Delivery Boy quest?

Correct.

After certain points in the game for most LIs, if you haven't been paying enough attention and/or been a dick to them their Affection for the MC goes down. You can rebuild it through various methods but if it's too low you might not be able to start/complete a quest while it's too low. Dunno how many times someone complained they couldn't start/complete a quest and it turned out a LI's Affection was too low... That's not a timer per se, but it is a gate and can definitely slow the game down or even block progression including with the Main line. (There is a built-in cheat that disables Affection loss from inattention, but you still have to build it up to certain thresholds for some quests.)

We need your save files to check what is wrong, the information is great to have to know what happend but without the save its like nearly imposible to see/re-made the bug .
just Zip the saves and upload them here.

Play game up to where the Transformation quest says "See if Edgar has an outfit available".

Then drop off the familiar in the MC's room in the tower.

Go ask Edgar about the outfit. Since Edgar needs to see the familiar for measurements, the familiar pulls herself out of the ether and shows herself to Edgar. She now exists in the MC's room and with the MC at Edgar's. Walking into the MC's room transforms the one with the MC before the MC can reach the only already in the room.

I didn't ask for the bug to be fixed, I just pointed it out to the forum to show that it is funny.

You don't ask for my save, just told me I had to give it to you. That kind of inclines me not to give it to you, especially since I detailed how it can be duplicated in my first post, reiterated again here for clarity. If you can't duplicate it, then it really isn't much to be concerned about. But I believe it can duplicated each and every time you follow the above steps. Kind of annoyed that you called that "impossible to see/re-made" without even thinking about what I said.

Ask yourself, what is Edgar's response to the MC asking for the familiar's outfit. Find yourself the answer and you will see how that duplicates the familiar if she is not with the MC.

ofc i ask for a save, i dont have 101 saves in my backpocket to just see where you are at what point in time. Due everyone does things in otherway so nearly no 2 saves are the same. Never had a person felt offended when i asked for one besides people who cheat/used 3th party mods so that the save itself already have a issue to load on a normal version of the game.

But we will see what we can find in the code so thank for the report.

It just would have been nice to have been asked for it, instead of just told that you need it. In response to me you said that you had asked for it, but you didn't, go back re-read. You told me you had to have it. I didn't come to you (or the forum) with a problem I wanted to have fixed. I could give a FUCK LESS about how people in the past have responded to you telling them they need to give you their save, I am telling you, asking is polite. Telling me I need to give you something is rude. Especially since you aren't even the Tinkerer, just someone that is acting as a proxy that may or may not have his approval.

I am giving you the save, only to prove to you that it is a legitimate repeatable glitch. I am not new to Peasant's Quest. And really wish you had approached me more respectfully.

I have altered stats, but no mods on the game. At this point of the save, I don't think I had altered any variables. Making pickyuprock happen is the only switch I ever alter in PQ.

My save picks up outside Edgar's. Unevolved familiar is in the MC's room in the tower. If you ask Edgar about the outfit without the familiar in the party, you will have two familiars. Then complete Transformation you will have two familiars, one evolved, and one unevolved.

I am pretty sure that is how the game is coded, I can not think of anything in the save that would make it happen. But to make it easier for you to see it isn't a result of a cheat / mod, here you are:

M3ntir is one of Tinkerer's admins, along with FunFuntomes, & is often a bridge between fans on here & Tinkerer himself, so he is often on here checking for bugs, glitches & breaks in the game. If he catches wind of something like what you are talking about he likes to have a copy of the save so he perhaps get Tinkerer to fix it or else this may crop up again with a different person. While he can come across blunt & to the point at times he is genuinely just trying to help (y)

Yes, also part of my fault that i am bit to direct and so come over as rude (as dutch person dont help that we have that trait) but sometimes it takes mutiple post to tell them how to share due the single file isnt forum allowed.
((if you want a laugh thing about the people who add 99 spiderqueen eggs and need to wait untill they hatch and going into the wall, and how many time that is reported that the game loops because of it.))

And yes i am one of those who is bit closer to Tinkerer, and if i need to say that everytime also makes it sound smug, so for at times its a lose-lose when i post here. But like Domwolf said, trying to help others by reporting and try preveting what happend to you to others.

One warning for altered stats, if you put attack values to high you will kill things with the tranquilzer weapon (if you go for the catch quest in the town)

I have a couple dozen playthroughs of PQ under my belt, I appreciate the warning, but I know what to lookout for it. I don't bother with the bounties, so it only comes into play with Dolf. I usually park my dog in the city first.

Plus, I manipulated the stats in a way that is easily reversed. I generally don't add exp, just add to the bonus attack/hp/magic etc. So level is natural, not inflated. Bonus att and hp can be completely removed.

Except for the familiar, I cheat up her exp so I can finish her quests and leave her in the tower ASAP. For some reason the leaving and coming back every time I get close to another LI bugs the heck out of me.

In fact other than her level, I think I could have removed all signs that I had manipulated the stats in about a minute.
