you already upgraded the mod version before the new version landed? another reason to name the mods after the version they belong too.

My point is that when patches are named appropriately there is less chance of mistakes, people should be able to understand (theoretically) that bugfix 3.55, Spicy 3.55 & Gnome 3.55 goes with PQ 3.55 and Bugfix 3.61, Spicy 3.61 & Gnome 3.61 goes with PQ 3.61...
Sure nothing might change between Mods 3.55 and 3.61, but at least the version numbers should give people the chance to self diagnose and will be less likely to screw it up when they eventually do change.

Will mods 3.61 with PQ 3.55 hurt anything? (if new content is added)

I assume using mods 3.61 with PQ 3.55 won't hurt anything?
the patches didnt change, but i was bit early mabye to do so.
basicly i doubt the patch will change anytime soon, due what they add woudnt be that smart to continue make bigger.
understandably that people want that content BUT for TInkerer is smarter to dont do so.

You're missing the point.
Whether the Patches change doesn't matter, it's about user psychology, the change log Spicy 3.61 can say "same as 3.55".
When the patches do change you end up with being inundated with people saying "Of course I have the patch, [and if you're lucky] I've been using it for years now" or in cases like this, you'll update the patch early with the updated version in your post (v3.61) but the file name stays the same (v1.0 for the Gnome mod, V1.1 for spicy... neither of which are helpful in telling what game version they will work with.), causing more confusion about what version they should be using.
When I see stuff like that the first thought through my head is that the up-loader accidentally uploaded the wrong file.

You didn't answer the question about whether the newer patches are backward compatible.

@M3ntir
Do you have any inside infos about the next update/poll?
i am a Patreon And his discord moderator.
so i know stuff and bit more than other patreon members

next update : No idea what he has planned.
is the update out : yes, Why not sharing??
due Tinkerer askes me to wait with it like every update, and now already some bugs found and we got those fixes.
((should also be bit of a reword for those who pay for it))

We ofc share the bugfixes here moment we get them on discord or mail so others dont have the same issue, thankfull to F95 in the past to find other bugs so its not that we dont value the people here.

...
I already said :p
Instead of Spicy v1.1 and Gnome v1.0, I feel they should be Spicy v3.55 and Gnome v3.55 (for the current Peasants Quest 3.55) and Spicy v3.61 and Gnome v3.61 (for the upcoming Peasants Quest 3.61) that goes double for Bugfixes (if there are multiple Bugfixes it would be "Bugfix 3.61", "Bugfix 3.61b", "Bugfix 3.61c", etc)... It's all about matching version numbers, even if nothing changes in the actual files, update the names so that when changes do happen people will have the chance to note.. "Oops I'm still using something intended for an older version... That might be the problem"

Just got a virus warning from Windows Defender when downloading from Gofile. I let WD dump it and can't be bothered to follow it up.

No further information, guidance or opinions available from me. Life's too short to waste it debugging stupid software issues. Lots of other games to play.

Happy New Year!

here is my unofficial Android port of Peasant's Quest v3.55.
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
minimum system requirements: Android 8.0

the off. walkthroughs are accessible from within the game menu.
don't forget to turn on the autosave feature.

for those with problems to use older saves:
create a folder save within RPGMaker/org.peasants.quest.the66 for Android 11 and newer or in Android/data/org.peasants.quest.the66/files for older devices and move all your save data there.
be advised, save slot 1 (now 'Autosave') will be overwritten when the autosave feature is enabled.

have fun and please report problems (you can reach me ).
updated: 10.10.2024 (off. bugfix #2)
