Tinkerer has the HD-Version on his Patreon, but think its the engine that scales them back, so dont work with the larger images in the first place. and otherwise only makes the file larger with no more benefits.I wish he consider reworked or use someone's help to upscale the images too !
I have a very high end Pc, and seeing 1008x720 pictures feels kinda ancient... and it's kinda hurt my eyes too.
Well what can i say i'm just a freeloader who is just... wishing, just sayiiing ! (whistling sound)

The dev is creating PQ solo (coding, writing, and images), with a QC guy to check things before test builds go out and someone paid to assist with animations but that's it. He ALSO has a full-time job and a family, and the holidays are upon us. The release date may slip a few days. ;-)

<<Solaria>> Tinkerer wants to keep the size small, if he would have used all the bigger sizes for renders, same for the vids the game files would be 10GB + or something. SO mabye PQ2 will be in higher resolution.

But for such a small team he does a fantastic job.
I know entire development teams that don't have anywhere near this amount of content, storytelling and quality
Guess dragons are resistant to the cold despite being reptiles so it's ok for her to be a nudist here

Well mabey dragons are kinda like the Synapsids of the early-late Permian era? In that they have both reptilian & mammalian qualities, so perhaps she has internal warmth. This makes sense in a fantastical way as well cos they breath FIRE.

From what I've heard, read & can surmise the data storage for PQ has gotten pretty big. Tinkerer is worried he may run out of space to finish the game. In that case PQ2 would be more akin to PQ-Part 2. But the likelihood is pretty high from what I have gathered.

nothing is 100% comfirmed but we doubt Tinkerer calles it quits after PQ so we all hoping he makes something new

I personally don't care. I've been following Tinker for so many years now. And his game is one of the few that has completely captivated me from day one and completely convinced me with its atmosphere and content.
I'm excited to see what else happens in the game and how it ends. It will definitely be a valuable part of my collection for a long time. And I'll also look at all the other things that Tinker creates, regardless of whether it's another part of PQ or something completely new. He has always delivered quality and has a knack for what the majority of his fans want. I really can't say that about every developer. You can clearly see that he loves what he does.

plus PQ was a learning experience for Tinkerer, hementioned at one point a "mercenar system" , basically romancable party members that would join MC on quests, but he said it's too late in PQ's development cycke to implement them
i don't know, i know that he have a full-time job and a family. I want to believe PQ2 is gonna happen but this PQ is build over 7 years.

We don't know how old Tinkerer is, though I suspect in his 30s (he mentioned somewhere having a kid who's ~10-12 at the time). Nor how interested he is in game design. I listened to an NPR story yesterday about Stardew Valley and the creator said he's still interested in creating content for it, even making a joke about releasing an update 50 years from now. So here's hoping Tinkerer doesn't lose all interest anytime soon.
That's a different issue.And I will gotten too old and became uninterested in the game too.
