Upon closer inspection I agree that does seem to be MC. The quest trigger I can imagine will either be 1) as you said the Magistarte gives MC the job (who isnt aware its Reanna?), 2) MC will randomly find a dead Thug in the streets at night triggering the event (by random I mean at a set time when all the pre-requisets are done), or 3) Adaobi might send MC to find out what Reanna has been up too latley as she keeps sneaking off.

during grayport cart delivery i want to use boat i loaded my boat and drive to ship but i can not seem to unload ship. i also tried taking cart to boat but it is not giving me option to unload delivery
I believe it is caused by PQ long time to update for each version.
He needs to reupload every 10 days.
That's something exhausting, like PQ game mechanic.
And PQ feed back is few compare to other games.

So, I just did a full wipe and reinstall of this with the newest version and have the spice mod installed as well, but I still am missing the daughter bed images. I have the animation and I have the valley river images, just not the bed scenes, and I can't move on from the top floor of my home.
