To me,its a tool to pile hay or to test new hairdoes on them,its funny to use it to pile hay in the most creative formats,and its definetly funny to stuck one of these in a hay pile.

It's an ancient Greek weapon similar to the Trident and the most famous user of one is Hades God of the under world

To be honest alot of iconography seen in the modern religious imagery is taken from the older pagan believes. Even the way Jesus was born was taken from a story where Zeus knocks up some poor sleeping virgin girl by appearing as a ray of light & "baved" her in the glow.

modern pitch forks maybe, early pitch forks were for throwing hay around (fork means to separate in two directions, the four tine would be these two tines being split once more), and almost all farm tools eventually got remade into tools of war & torture.
I don't think its an accident the grim reaper uses a scythe to separate mortals from the earth while the lord of the underworld uses a pitchfork to usher these freshly mown souls to their proper place, just as a farmer would when moving freshly cut hay.

Did some portals/waystones get moved for anyone else in 2.71? For example, the portal north of the city is near Fridaheim on the map, although the actual portal is normal, it's only a map issue. It's the linux version.

For example, the portal north of the city doesn't show up on the map, although if I go there on foot the portal is there, and I can use it to leave to another portal, but I can't teleport from another portal to that one because it's not on the map. Other portals are on the map but not in their proper location, such as the temple's one being on the road to the swamp (although it being on the map means at least I can use it). It's the linux version.

I noticed that afterwards and ended up editing the post before the new replies loaded, so for anyone wondering I had said some portals had disappeared (I didn't realize I hadn't tested all of them before posting).
I'm using a save from 2.61

I've no idea why you might have problems with this.

Go into save editor, find your hero, should be #6 on the list, type a number into the relevant box, ATK increases your damage with melee, MAT increases your damage with magic. MHP to increase your max health.
The numbers you enter into these fields are added to your stats, So your beginning ATK is 6, with 100 into the ATK box adds up to 106 Attack.

​ Some news? View attachment 1754928 Hi everyone! Now that things have calmed down a bit after the launch of 2.71 I've had some time to look ahead. The next major release will be 2.81, which will mostly focus on your fledgling goblin empire. I'll be adding some new activities you can assign to your underlings, like mining and smithing. So they can improve their equipment and be less likely to get stabbed. The update will also bring you into conflict with another tribe, the black goblins. This will add raiding similar to the Pygmy goblin conflict, but with some elements of repeatability. The plan is to make this update a bit smaller than the last one, so it doesn't turn into another 3 month+ production nightmare, and I'll do my best to stick to the plan this time. I've also been working on improving the current build a bit. Smoothing out some rough edges, fixing some bugs and adding a few minor scene options for Mia, Liandra and Luthien. These will be released in v2.72 sometime later this week. Happy Easter everyone! Tinkerer​

That's not Makith. I beleive that's just a regular goblin warrior from our rank'n file. Makith wears a hooded black robe while that dude is wearing basic tribal cloth.


Tinkerer seems to have rule that any NPC that is required to complete a quest is not gonna be killed. Makith gives us the Spirit Potion quest so I reckon she will be fine. Same reason why Bhrute is the only one who survives the King's raid on the village, he is needed to learn Mighty Blow & some of us might not do that before the raid happens.

If the character is needed for a skill, part of a number of different questlines that can overlap or is a girl we have reached pregnancy stage with I beleive they are safe.

You can also see this in effect with Julia & Molly. Julia is persuable as a sexual partner so she will survive the raid & begin a new life with MC on the Family Farm. Molly exists to birth Taurus' child, nothing more. She & Taurus have no quests or skills to teach MC outside of their encounter in the quest "Monster Hunter". So she dies cos she lived her purpose.

Same with Victoria & the Mayor. The Mayor may give u some side quests & play a minor role in some other quests he is not importent BEYOND the The Election. So Victoria easily replaces him in all his quests because it dosent harm the game. But Victoria is a pursuable female so she must life.
