i have a few questions,
1. Is there a way to speed up the animations ? (The Original scenes are very old and extremely slow animation with 30 fps) Also how to stop this pauses between the 4 second animations ?
All new scenes in 2025 are ok but, all the old scenes (670) have pauses inbetween them. Example (4 second scene then pause, 0.60 second black screen then it repeats) it looks really bad, like my pc is having a stroke.
2. Is Erevi children bugged ? The walkthrough said she and her daughter can only have 6 named children each with sprites, but Erevi have 11 children names including the daughters name, but with only 6+6=12 children sprites in the castle.

I can answer 2) originally Tinkerer was gonna give Erevi 10 kids after Succubus, but he then pulled that back down to 6. Guess he never changed the Book to reflect that.
I don't have that problem. Some have small jumps/twitches when they repeat but no actual pauses let alone black screens. How old/powerful is your setup? Mine is a bog-standard home use Dell laptop about 3 years old.
A guy was upscaling animations on his own but he quit a while back and pulled everything from public, because he was getting zero feedback at all, not even thanks.

What happens when you open it? nothing, crash, error message or terminal opens ? or something else ?
for me it says cant open so then i use the terminal to use chmod +x to run nwjs. then i allow game to run but never launvhes. or it states nwjs quit unexpectedly
The discord's public area has a help channel, you could try there as well.
i have the newest mac thats on sequioa with a M chips so im assuming thats causing a problem. I do have nwjs v 0.29.0 downloaded i can use that to run the game but the extra mods do not work

The mods most likely don’t work because that nw.js version is too outdated. Mods need a newer nw.js but those new versions don’t go well with Apple Silicon and macOS security.

I looked around on the web and people were talking about the version nw.js v0.49.x especially the v0.49.2 they say it's one of the most compatible for your situation of a new mac with all the security but it needs to be run with Rosetta enabled, perhaps with that you can get the mods to work i would say they are a essential part of this fine game.
Just says can't be opened, that's all. I downloaded new version of Being a DIK and perfectly run. I need to update my mac to new version?
got it i got it to launch the discord helps there is a pin in there that tells you how to make it run.
