You will see Ivette and Josephine next to the church, Utter is in the window then you will climb the window and leave the gift there, but...................
Is this time gated or I need to finish up other quests? I've been in and out to see if its time gated but doesn't seem like it.

这个时间是有门限的还是我需要完成其他任务?我已经进进出出看过是否有时间门限,但似乎没有。

When you finished buying clothes and sold the clothes door, did you have some self talking conversations? If so, don't use teleportation when you run back. When you get to the Duke's yard, you can see the Duchess standing under the window. You can trigger the plot through the conversation. It is recommended that you decompress the compressed file again and use a new game without any patches to buy clothes again

poor stable boy
True. And sadly the 1st MUST die to complete "Infidelity". And everytime u knock up Josephine you'll have to condem the new stable boy again, and again, and again...

However if u don't like that u could always just avoid the Baron between the 5th & last day of pregnancy. Then go to Josephine's room for the baby scene. The game goes on like normal but the stable boy lives (y)

It should just happen. Do have the right outfit? There wasn't more than one there by any chance?
yes its the only one left on the shop. after some testing you will be locked out if you don't use spyglass in yvette twice before buying the costume. thats a bug i guess.

USE SPYGLASS TWICE BEFORE BUYING THE COSTUME

Since I installed the last update, my game is awfully slow. Have you got any problems ?
The game engine is reaching its limits. A big reason why Tinkerer is focused on completing first the Greyport+Barony storyline (one more update expected) and then the Main storyline (Temple vs Tower, two updates expected for that).

What do you mean by "slow?" For me it shows a "now loading" image a lot more, before I might glimpse it going to another map and often not even that. But even now it never seems to be more than a couple-three seconds. Is it longer than that for you? Do you get lag for things like moving around or interacting with stuff?

It's not a shooter where lag is deadly so take that into account. :) But if it's common even when not switching maps, that could be reallllllly annoying. You could try re-installing it from scratch and see if that makes a difference.

So I'm essentially locked out of the quest?
Do you have a Save from before buying her outfit?

(Saving regularly is recommended. You don't have to do it constantly but one from a few game-days ago is way better than having to backtrack 2-3 game weeks. I keep weekly saves.)

Hell yeah, it's the "NOW LOADING" screen. Till the 3.75 update, it was very smooth. Nearly never any slowness. And now, it's often 30-45 second or more (90% of maps changing or combat lauching) ! I will try to DL the full game and try it then

That jump is excessive even for nearing the engine's limits.
How new/strong is your system? I'm use a Dell bought new ~3 years ago for under $1k, good RAM but that's it.

How does the Mc get new skills? I'm at level 6 and still no new fighting skills. Just have the magic skill heal small wounds.

That doesn't seem right. I'm running PQ on my old (10 years old) laptop, straight from an external SSD. It still doesn't get that slow.

Most of MC skills are from quest and learning from others. Sadly, I can't remember most of them or when.

It's a pretty basic game, there aren't a lot of "skills." Combat is attack/full defense/cast spell/try to escape. There are one or two Special physical skills but no feinting, etc. Overall combat prowess is reflected in higher stats and HP/MP pool caps. Most skills are passive, they enable doing something without having to actively choose it. Some skills like Baking aren't even listed after you learn them. On the plus side you can pick up & use just about any weapon at full effect without special training.

--Knock up Shakala and keep visiting her at the dead tree, that leads to unlocking the Special melee skill Mighty Blow.
--Using heavy two-handed weapons and heavy armor (plate) requires specific skills unlocked by a quest a bit later from where you are now.
--More spells are learned during specific events while progressing the game, but the MC is a fighter who can cast some spells rather than a spellslinger who also knows his way around swords.

U can learn the Skills Two-Handed Weapons & Heavy Armour from Gabriel while he's outside the Temple by training with him.

If u fight Bhrute the goblin in Shakala's Camp he will teach you the Mighty Strike skill.

At the cultists tombe you'll find a chest past the Niger Arcana room that has the Wither spell.
