I started solo paths for the ones I like a few updates back. :)
(That's how I found the Sandra problem).
It's possible I've missed someone, but I believe have a solo path for every girl available. (I even have one for Mrs. Gustavsson, who it sounds like won't actually end up with her own path.)

Have you got a nobody path ready for the ones we haven't really got anywhere with yet (or even met) - Camille, Danielle, Jennifer?

Along with Gabi - they're my fav 4 (of the MG anyway).

I have lots of love for most the SG too - Grace, Hannah (love me some twins), Lily, Cherie, Ann, Mrs Berg.

I set up separate paths for many of those, viz., Camille, Danielle, Gabi (of course), Grace, Hannah, Lily, and Mrs. Berg. I don't have anything for Cherie Gabor, since the MC only sees her once at the party and never interacts with her; seems pretty clear that's not going to happen, at least not in this specific case, so I won't bother with that one. I don't know who Ann is; did you maybe mean Amy (the reporter)? I do have a path for Amy as well. If any of these end up being Nobody paths, then so be it.

I haven't made a path for Jennifer yet, but it's incredibly easy to keep on what probably will be a nonexistent path (like Gustavsson) and just use that for Jennifer if anything ends up coming of his memory / the letter.

I do think it's very possible still for many of those to end up as legit paths, but I don't know where things will go. I just remember MPR saying he didn't intend for Mrs. Gustavsson to have a path. (Changed his mind, I guess, since there is a variable for her specifically called MrsGustavssonPath.)

Oh, I see. Since it still shows "Officer Johnson" in the game, I only remembered her by that name. It sort of feels like she's isolated to the same path as Sandra, her flirting being otherwise just that and nothing more. But with the latest "interrogation room" scene, she definitely seems tied to Sandra. Ofc, then Sandra also says she's thinking she may not want to share after all. If that ends up being the case, then a separate playthrough might be needed (if you can even get Johnson as an individual LI at some point).

I don't (yet) have a separate path for her, but it's easy enough to set up. I would just copy saves and rename them with higher numbers for additional playthroughs. It could mean starting on Sandra's path and then pivoting to Ann; or it might mean I need an almost entirely unrelated set of saves, such as from Mrs. Gustavsson. It's much easier for me to rename, say, 25 saves than to play through for a new path, even with Ctrl-skip — I wouldn't need to remember (or look up) any choices that might increase someone else's stats. Anyway, so I'd get those (either Sandra's or Gustavsson's) copied and then proceed if it turns out she's got a separate path.

First of all, I want to thank u for the game.
I am enjoying it a lot, more than I can remember enjoying playing a game... maybe since the old Monkey Island games (saving the differences).

Should be a really hard work to create a long path for each girl, maybe 2 of 3 of them could be ok, while the others would be just to follow the story.
Well, at this point I couldn't choose which of them should have their story with the MC without distracting from the main plot, well, maybe one could: Josefhine.
Too many paths could prevent you from following the main plot of the story. (ok, ok... I know... you can choose which one follow or not, but is difficult do not open all when u find them).

And maybe one more where MC ends alone could be fine too, something like the hero that can´t be with the woman he desire the most... (yes, I know i have bad influences of old films).


I write this in the heat of the moment, just discover the game some days ago but today is the day I give time to play it...

Happy you like it! Since we are early in the story of Pecker PI, this is the time for exploration when it comes to the girls. That will eventually narrow down depending on choices.

I'm back! Feels a little like a George Costanza moment in that something will inevitably go wrong. But I'm nearly 100%. Not doing any sports yet, but it doesn't feel like I'm going to melt into a heap of biohazardous material either. The real downside with being sick was that I had 6 days of rendering scheduled. I tried, but no good.

I'm not posting a render today, because I don't want to give away anything in scene 3. If I don't finish by Sunday, I will render something for your enjoyment. Scenes 3, 4, and 5 are really all connected. Kind of hoping to be done with all of those this week, but unsure as they require a fair amount of posing...which is usually what takes the longest. I might invest in a couple of posing packs, but I'm always a little hesitant as they are almost never perfect. However, if they get me close, it's probably worth it in terms of time spent. I still have about 10 renders to finish scene 2. Currently at 130 renders for the chapter.

Tom of posted a proper review of Pecker PI on his Patreon (the previous was just a live playthrough of first chapter). It was overall quite positive. Currently you have to be a Patreon to watch, but it will be free on youtube in a week or so. I'll post a link when it's up.

DogCat Studios (a friend and proponent of Pecker PI) released his newest version of . He is such a positive and hard-working developer and is always up for helping out when I run into trouble (coding springs to mind).

It finally feels like I'm back in the process and I'm excited to work on chapter 6.

Hello everyone! I started another diary on Wednesday and thought it was a bunch of nonsense. Hey, I know when it's a bunch of drivel. I don't require discerning minds to correct my erroneous ways. And to be honest, the diary was always just supposed to be an outlet for thoughts while sitting at the computer feeling lonely. Sort of therapy for the developer. So, it will be back when I don't feel like it's just a task. It just seems counterproductive when it becomes a chore.

We are now into scene 3. A little less impressive than I hoped for, but it takes the time it takes. How is that for words of wisdom? Still, not terrible as I'm just getting going on chapter 6 and with some story fixes...it's pretty good. I invested in some stuff for the Bellarosa dinner, which I'm looking forward to. Seems like there is always another asset that could be good to have. The dinner will certainly be a render nightmare with the number of guests that I'm planning, but having a plan and knowing that it will be a challenge probably sets me up for a low surprise ratio. Always a goal.

We hit 190 renders for the chapter. The real bummer is that the week I was sick was basically a full week of render days given up to physical weakness. The upside is that I looked the flu in the eye and turned that shit around...once I was ready;-)
I'll post the music for the current chapters for Gumshoe tier+ shortly.

(Gabby's and Natasha's) with messing around with Josephine (Damn she is hot).

Just be aware that, depending on the girl, only two playthroughs is probably not going to cut it in the long run. MrPocketRocket has even said so in this very thread. For some, it seems pretty clear they'll be fine with sharing, but others will definitely not be.

MrPocketRocket Lots of with missing for the Dissolve(), findable with (?<!with) Dissolve. For example

For that matter, there's no need to use the Dissolve class if you're going to make the transition time be half a second. The dissolve instance is a shortcut to Dissolve (0.5), so you save a little time with each instance (see ).

Starting off the week with a couple of full render days. I have been posting a few renders of the upcoming dinner party at the Bellarosa estate. Looking at dresses mainly. There will be one character that we haven't met before, Mrs. Bellarosa. Well, here she is. On the baby grand piano no less. I'll post a poll regarding the possibility of physical interaction with Mrs. Bellarosa this week. I hadn't planned on it, but in all fairness, it is an AVN and a little danger might make things just right for the genre. She will never be a true love interest, but that doesn't seem like a real hurdle. In this case, Mr. Bellarosa seems like the hurdle. But who cares about winding up at the bottom of the Rackham River with cement boots?

Tom over at posted the review of Pecker PI on his channel, which brough an uptick in views and membership. Thank you, Tom! It's free to watch at YouTube, but this is probably just preaching to the choir here. Anyway, check it out and give him a thumbs up, if you have the time. I subscribed to his Patreon just to hear what he said as soon as he posted it there...which could have been a big mistake. Turns out, he appreciated the effort and gave Pecker PI a Siskel & Ebert type thumbs up, which I truly appreciate. If you don't know who Siskel & Ebert were, not to worry, they were just two guys with opinions about movies. YouTube seems like a place that should have some Pecker PI presence, so at some point I'll make a trailer and post there. However, I am busy rendering the next chapter, so it will have to wait. I wish I had a more business savvy drive, but I care about making the AVN...not so much about selling it. Maybe to my own detriment. Who knows, and who cares? I certainly don't;-) Well, maybe a little.

I'll post some more renders of the ladies at the party this week. The guest list isn't huge. 10 people around the table. With one key guest. Sex, blood and violence sells, right? Well, you will get all of that at the party.

Thank you for that note. For some reason I thought the base dissolve was a second. Now I know.

Now, we can argue whether or not all AVNs shouldn't promote Pecker PI, but I think we all know the answer to that, don't we? Anyway, DC is maybe the hardest working dev. I know. He not only works on his AVN, but also has time to put out an astonishing number of special renders. On top of that he engages with his supporters and other devs in a way I can only dream of (my real life gets the better of me). If you have a moment and are curious, please check out his game.

Honestly, it was hard to react to the post. I wasn't sure whether to show I liked the overall post, loved that Mr. PocketRocket praised DC (which is great), or laugh at the shameless self-aggrandizement joke. I chose the latter, but... I'm not sure I chose the correct reaction. :p

Appreciate the post and happy you like it. I think I went into this looking at BaDik and a few others that have a fair amount of girls/women and I'm not sure I had a real plan then...or rather I didn't have a real plan then. The story/plot was my main focus. In retrospect, there are several things I would have done differently had I known what I know now. My plan now is to give the player a few paths, with some of the women not interested in a romantic relationship. Not unlike a lot of AVNs. So, yes, I have had similar thoughts:)

Alright. Time to pay the piper. I may have vastly exaggerated my own abilities. Look, we all should have hopes and dreams, but let us call them hopes and dreams. I'm not quite done with my 3 days of rendering (thought it was 5 to start), so I won't mention numbers just yet. I don't want to look like a complete buffoon. Someone say, "Good luck with that!" Anyway, it has been a couple of good days for rendering. Posing is really the time sink...and simulating the dforce items (Daz gravity simulation. Why isn't it called g-force?...I guess we all know the reason for that).

I didn't get to my famed pocket diary this week, but I have lots of thoughts for the future of Pecker PI and maybe beyond. Baby steps.

The next Pecker PI case will be more complex as it will have two story lines that converge. Not to give too much away, but the story will revolve around a movie star, the production of her latest block buster (a Western), and a character that is historically not a friend of our MC. So, some movie making scenarios, some new characters, some old ones gone, and a lot of fun. I'm not sure I will go into any more detail for now. The next pocket diary will definitely be a "What happens after the next case?" thinking. Rest assured, if Pecker PI is what you want, Pecker PI is what you will get;-) Or that is at least that is the current thinking. I'm just making this shit up as I go.
