For this type of VN, gotta say on this site this and Goddess' Whim by Ncrow are my two favorites. Both are great stories. Demons of the Hearth made by Konvel would be up on that list as well, but I'm not sure if that VN has stopped or what is going on. Too many great ones on this site have been abandoned or something has happened mysteriously to the creator, like with my favorite VN Reluctant Archon by Kyois. Cheers to you, Darx24

From what I'm reading this seems to be a purely Male Protagonist game, so what's the reason for this one having the Female Protagonist tag? Is there actually a female MC or is it just because we get to make 1 or 2 choices for one of the female characters?

Because the main character can take the form of a female character.

But this is not necessarily an option for the player, you can opt out when the game gives you a choice for this option.
Therefore, you can play with or without the female character function.

Alright well that's still reason enough for the tag to be there at least. I asked because there are many games here that shouldn't have that tag but still get it just because it happens to switch to a female perspective for maybe 5 clicks in the entire game. Makes it a bit difficult to figure out what to expect from looking at the tags alone..

In fact, this is what happens: you switch to the female character form only in the scenes, otherwise you control your female servant.
