I'm increasingly thinking that Kelly is acting more out of jealousy towards Emily than overprotection towards Dylan. And this conversation with Brandi gives me an idea of what might happen: Kelly follows them, watches them, and, as you said, she interrupts the climax moment when Dylan is going to cum. Then they argue and in the end, to win the argument, Kelly can say that she knows the only rule of the island, that no man can cum inside any local woman on the island. The last two images of Kelly with the "angry face and closed eyes" on the subject make one thing clear: it's not just to "protect" Dylan, but because she's jealous of what her sister has experienced and Emily is surely going to experience.
