They are connected.

They are all in the "Lockiverse" and you even see Avalon and Byron(MC) in the cake shop, where Petal and MC meet and speak with them for a short while. There are some years between those two groups of games, since at that point Avalon is taking her drivers licence and is mentioned as fifteen.
Their latest game Quean Bee is also in the same universe.
so is this game actually abandoned?

I know they're in the same universe, but not all are directly impactful on each other the way the series beginning with Petal is. Petal is actually the one I saw first and was introduced to Avalon in the sweets shop. PFYT sprung directly from Avalon, but Petal did not. That was my point.

awe man... I might not even play it if it's abandoned
Give it a try, and make sure you play the villain edition; the other version has the adult content removed. Lockheart's still making games, maybe if enough people ask for it, he'll bring PFYT back.

I don't see how you could conclude that based on what I wrote.

It's not Abandoned as interpreted in the way of "permanently dropped".
Based on what Lockheart has said on different occasions, I would say a more fitting term is On Hold indefinitely (until enough support returns for it, or he has enough income to hire more help with working multiple games).

He very much want to continue the story, but doesn't want to risk spending time on a game he doesn't feel will bring him more financial backing.

Sure about that? He's doing "Queen Bee" right now, but I guess "Over the Moon" isn't done, so technically the "Rose Garden Trilogy" isn't finished I guess. He's also got something called "The Judas Ghost" in an active state as well. Maybe someone on his Patreon or Discord (if he has one) can shed some more light. I've just lost track of everything.

I just finished Penny for your thoughts. I think Lockheart did an excellent job on this story. The only thing I was disappointed in was that the project had been shelved. While the Prologue can certainly stand on its own and has a good ending, there could be a lot more to the story. I hope Lockheart picks this back up and takes it further.

So in what order do you play these games? Plus, can someone tell me all the games? I've got 5 of them so far.

Lockheart games: https://f95zone.to/search/477734501...]=1&c[nodes][0]=2&c[title_only]=1&o=relevance

I recommend starting with:
  1. Avalon
  2. The Rose Garden = an upcoming compilation of:
    1. Petal Among Thorns
    2. A Moment of Bliss
    3. Over the Moon (still in progress)
The others are incomplete and/or side stories. It doesn't really matter what order you play them once you've met some of the key characters introduced above. But it's entirely possible the order will matter more once those are completed. That's up to the devs to reveal.

Penny For Your Thoughts, for instance, references events and characters in Avalon. But it's short and unfinished, so I don't know if they intended to set up Rose Garden or go in some other direction.

There are 6 Lockverse games. Chronologically, it's the Rose Garden trilogy, Avalon, PFYT, Quean Bee. There's also The Judas Ghost, but that doesn't take place in the Lockverse.

I'd play Avalon first, since that is the roughest of the games, both in terms of the story and the production quality. The Rose Garden is a much lighter story.

It also works better to player Avalon first, since there are "cameos" and other references in the other games that have more value if you play the games in the order they were released, instead of the the chronological order.

Okay. So what is the release order? And where does Project B come in? Because no one has mentioned it. Thanks!
