You're referring to a tried and true, classic NTR formula, which IMO works much better.
You can have a plot, character development, actions and consequences with an evil NTR antagonist.
Writing a good hearted, decent, honest, sweet and loving NTR antagonist is new, but is it good? No. The attempt is commendable, but it deviates from what most NTR lovers want. IMO, it falls flat.

The dev has made one of the more believable, adult sharing games I've seen on this site. It's rare that the sharing is actually sharing instead of the blatant cheating and NTR in other games. Their sex games are agreed upon and healthy for the couple as they always enjoy themselves as a unit. Even when she gets him off he makes sure to take care of her at night. Not every game needs the same cookie cutter tropes. I'm glad this game is the way it is and I hope he doesn't chance a thing. There are plenty of games that have what you want, as you've mentioned... play those. BTW this isn't even NTR so far... by the definition of what NTR neotare stands for.
