Is it really impatience if it's been 4 years? I don't care either way. If it comes out, it comes out, if it doesn't, it doesn't. I'm here for the comments more than the video. But I still understand why people that *are* here waiting for the video, and who have *been* waiting for years, would be irritated with the situation.

Just weird that ya'll are on this guy for being a singular animator, creating a very large project, and then being surprised when that project is now also taking the time to do the sound work. Like these aren't done simultaneously ya know? And then when that's all done, its a matter of lipsyncing the voice work the VA's sent in, checking if that causes any errors, and then rendering the thing.

I feel like when FOW made films, they absolutely raised the bar, but also people's expectations as how timely it takes for films to get made. They could pump out like 4 projects in a year because they are a team. These are singular people. Gotta keep those factors in mind is all I'm saying.

They are keeping these factors in mind (like I said, I'm here for the comments more than the video. Gadabout 1 was decent, but nothing absolutely spectacular), and it still shouldn't have taken that long just to make the animation.

According to what though, you can't measure this (though some genius in jack's thread tried) in time = output. Even some of the best animators like nyl take their time creating works.

Yea what the hell, how in the world is it considered impatient when a creator hasn't released a single finished animation in literally over 4 years...the mental gymnastics you must have to do to justify that is mind boggling. Especially if you've been subbed to said creator the entire time hoping the anim would've already been released by now good lord

I don't see how those are worse than this. 4 years, 4 years of sucking people dry for money is worse. I've seen many solo dev indie games done in less time. I'd rather see a project get cancelled or the animator drop off the face of the earth, at least that has closure. One year? Understandable. Two years? Still fine. Three? You're pushing it. Four? What are you even doing at that point.
