There's no way any serious sound designer should take over a year for a project, especially when most of the sound designing in this film is sexual sounds that can be repeated over and over.

Yo,
just finished the blocking (and some very rough animation) for said scenes done today, wanted to get a feel for the environments and camera movements before attending animation.
The mist effect in the door was twisting muh ballz quite a bit but I'm happy enough with how it turned out.
Next up is blocking out the whole hotel room scene. Afterwards, we're jumping straight into animation

managed to get the rough blocking done till the sex scene is initiated:
There are still some issues, the pacing is way too fast since Blender is so fucking slow with all the entities and simulations happening in the background that I couldn't really determine how fast it plays out in real time.. time upgrade muh PC I guess D:
I also noticed that I need to switch up the sky background since we don't want to have the Hotel flying in the air like it's from a Miyasaki Movie: View attachment IMG_8041.webp
Also not 100% happy with Ayane's expression in some parts: View attachment IMG_8011.webp
.. Other than that, we're good to go to block the sex scenes once I've dealt with said problems

Forgive me for the late update, it seems that my PC isn't able to handle renders like these anymore - The machine shut down countless times during the render but it could be due to faulty setup with Blender.. I will do some troubleshooting today but I definitely have to upgrade the rig next year. I couldn't do crap for 2 straight since the render took that long D:
Obvious issues like disappearing volumetrics, odd movements, clippings and pacing issues will be fixed tomorrow

Lastly, I wanna tell you how it goes with G2 - I'm in frequent talks with Alien and from the sound of it (haha) it will be done till the end of the year.
I'm glad that he didn't disappear and that it will finally come to end, hooray!
Once again, no promises or definite deadlines, this is just an estimate.
The last hurdle will be the music but we agreed on keeping it minimalistic and probably leave it out entirely throughout the sex scenes.. but the other shit should have at least have some music going on.

IIRC Deadbeat is mostly done on his side, hence its sent to the person doing the sounds, probably some polishing left to do. But comes down to how far the sound guy is. Patreon post mentioned he asked the guy for a full render too see the state of the project, and then will go from there.
