That's crazy, I feel the exact opposite. P4's cast feels like the friends you had back in highschool and the adventure just feels like hanging out with them after school. Naoto and Rise have pretty dramatic backstories, but everyone else is really grounded, so the group has a great dynamic and all the girls feel really appealing.
P3 felt like workplace colleagues with their own cliques, and P5 was a bit all over the show. The only ones that mattered to the plot were Makoto and Futaba, so the rest just felt like they were hanging around.

Nah I totally agree, P4's cast probably would have the strongest friend group especially since it's in a rural town. Small town vibes like they say. P3 was definitely cliquey and P5's cast arent as close either (probably due to the Tokyo setting and how everyone's out and about).
I prefer persona 3 as my overall favorite in the series aswell, but what you say here is valid. I think P3 tells the better overall story and has a cooler setting, but p4 has that small town friend group vibe on lockdown. Both games do what they set out to do very well in my opinion, its just a matter of preference. I liked p4 when i first played it over a decade ago but i wouldnt return back to it (same with p5) but i replayed p3 many many many times over the years and keep returning back because i like the story of that setting.
I was very frustrated with p5, but i think thats because as i kept playing through it i had to go over so, so much fluff that i didnt care about. The story moved extremely slowly, and and most characters i liked felt like a rebrand of already existing character in p3 (Makoto and Mitsuru being extremely similar for example)
I think for this game, persona 4 was the correct choice. Small town mystery is a very good setting for an h-game.

Even if I sounded harsh, I do like the game and cast as well. A glass of ice water with a squeeze of lemon is still good, even if fresh lemonade would be more flavorful and quenching. And although I don't really enjoy her character and story too much, Rise is voiced by Laura Bailey, my favorite voice actress, so that adds a lot of
for me. I plan on playing p3 reloaded next once I can get my hands on it, so if it isn't the best out of the three, I'm complaining to you.1. She's already dressed for school.

So much more interesting things could be done first with her or Chie mainly because they are very innocent, like the King game, blind fold taste testing, maybe they are dry humping a big pillow or stuffed animal and you sneak your way into it list of sneaky or corrupted stuff goes on xDCounterpoint: cumming in Nanako almost immediately

Golden Goose Studios. Thanks for the update. There's a couple of bugs present I noticed. For the final dialogue choice with Rise, the dialogue says you need either 8 Expression for the 1st option or 5 Courage for the 3rd Option. But actually you need 9 Expression or 6 Courage respectively. You can't pick the choices with 8 Expression or 5 Courage. Also, for Teddie's social link, you used the Sun Arcana's image, not the Star Arcana's.

Thanks for mentioning those bugs! I fixed the Rise dialogue options (should be available in downloadable itch io version) but I didn't realize the Teddie one! I'll replace it with the right Arcana.

Koikatsu's kinda... Bleh. The girls all act the same and the animations aren't exactly any better than you get here, just harder to access unless you go to the studio, which is complicated.
Koikatsu also doesn't natively look like anything from this game. It's clearly been extensively modified.
