Ren'Py - Completed - Personal Trainer [v1.1.2] [Domiek]

I will state right off I gave it 4 stars simply because it is still an early edition game, and the creator is working a lot on it. I didn't give it 5 only because being so young, there's still a lot to be done.

Now that being said, hands down the overall game is fun. The premise of it is funny, and actually could be plausible. You're a straight male who has had his heart destroyed, so you pretend you're gay to get a job since you really need one. I mean...come on, that's Hollywood script material right there. The characters are also pretty cool. There's 2 I absolutely fell in love with almost immediately. The map is easy to navigate, and the creator has left it open for so many things to be added on. Without a doubt, I'm looking forward to seeing more releases of this game. If it goes as well as I believe it is, I'll be editing my stars sooner or later.

The story line is really great in this game. I have played many VN games but didn't find a great story line up like this one.

I personally refer everyone to try this game atleast once and i can guarantee that you will not able to leave the game .

Apart from the story line, the graphics and texts are also great.

I will give it a 9/10 coz if I give 10 it will a too much.. and many can take this as a false review.

Its has weird and funny scenes together with sexy stuff.

Another excellent gem I have missed out so long. While the story begins with a casual tone, it quickly develops into some interesting and very unique lines. The graphics accompany the storyline perfectly.
This is one of those games that hold a great promise, its already an awesome entertainment so far.

I couldn't play this game for more than about half an hour before putting it down permanently. The preview renders were decent, and the high review score and frequent updates were good signs, but the game itself isn't very good.

The main issue with this game is the writing. The player character is introduced and is immediately unlikeable. The two paragraphs of backstory are sad (his wife cheated, he drank a lot, then got fired), but don't justify his immense dickishness, particularly when him and his cousin present him as a good dude. Literally the first thing that crosses his mind is that he wants to have sex with as many women as possible and will lie and manipulate to do it.

Now this is the porn game genre, there are characters that do things far worse than lying to get sex, but in the games worth playing, the MC has interesting or redeeming features that make up for it. A character can do bad or dickish things, and still be a likeable character, look at Alicesoft games for instance.

But this guy has no real redeeming qualities. He talks about suicide in the first minute of the game, decides to trick women into sex in the next, then fakes being both a transperson and then gay in the following two while making a quip about identity politics (clearly without any idea what identity politics actually are).

The female characters I met in my short playtime were all monodimensional caricatures. The receptionist's one quality was that she was naive and stupid. The manager of the gym was overly idealistic and manipulable. Then literally an hour after I was hired I click on a fat chick (who the MC is obviously disgusted by) who mentions that I provided services to all the women, and she literally rapes me, just so the author can make a bunch of lazy fat jokes. Then I go into the lobby and the receptionist literally just asks to wank me off in our second conversation right there in the lobby.

I tried to walk around town but the arcade was closed even though it was 9am and it was meant to open at 8. Then I entered a coffee shop where there was an abusive hipster caricature that we mocked, made repeated gay jokes about, and then several trump related jokes as well for no real reason - not even out loud, just in our head.

Basically the game screams self insert fan fiction. The guy believes hes right about everything, spouts his politics, everyone who disagrees is a shit caricature, all the women want him instantly as well as being monodimensional and obviously inferior to the MC.

I didnt give the game one star because the renders are OK, the grammar is acceptable, and the game is largely functional, but this is one of the few games that looked good enough to pick up that I just had to put straight back down.

The renders are much detailled and seen Pretty realistic. Especially a milf named Amy look like a mature Woman. Even her breasts look like those of a women at her age.

The development of the characters is sometimes unexpected. The asian Girl or Amy may here be taken as examples. So it´s not only the main NPC, that´s developing her role.

The mood of the Story is diversified. I really enjoyed the idea how the character got the Job at the ladies gym. The way of helping amy with her Problem at home adds some seriousness to the plot. But not to much.

I think it´s one of the best games here, especially because of the Background of the character, which isn´t Standard like: Father died and now go and fuck the chicks.

Story: 9/10 - The overall introduction is unique, which is a major plus to me. No attempt to use the worn out "moving to mom's after <insert tragedy for father here>". In v.23, the 'shock twist' was also a very good and unique touch as well, along with the 'comeback'. The sexual aspects meld in with the storyline, thus far, though some of the sexual aspects might leave a few thinking 'Yeah, right!", but not so outrageous that it would be outside the realm of possibility.
The story so far is a fresh concept that is being nicely executed.

Renders: 9/10 - Excellently done. With the female characters seen so far, a very good variety of body types, races and ages.

Characters: 10/10 - An excellent mix of personalities, rather than the same tired 'cookie cutter slut' types. Ranges from innocent, to a grandmother (not elderly), and a bodybuilder.

User Interface: 9/10 - The interface is not intrusive on the overall display of the renders. Only a couple of occasions where using the H key to hide the interface was needed to see full detail of the model that was being displayed at that moment in time, and only to hide the speech box. Even with the speech box visible at those times, could still see what was displayed fairly well.

Animations: 10/10 - Excellent render and animation work. The animations have a pretty high FPS rate, giving them a smoother, more realistic movement. Couple this with the option of multiple viewpoints for most scenes, increases the overall score in this area substantially. I would give it an 11, but 10 is high enough.

Male Protagonist: 9/10 - The male model is an actual ADULT, with a much more realistic body frame and type, along with far more realistic genital size. No anacondas or sewer pipes between his legs.

Synopsis: 9.5/10 - This is one title that I may contribute to, financially. The Developer has presented a fresh approach and story with enough activity with each of the characters to increase the playing time of the game, even at this early stage. With the 'character hint' screen, the need of a walkthrough to see the available content isn't needed. There are also a couple of directions that one can take with at least one of the characters, as well, giving a bit more in the way of choice and options. I can see the possibility of relationships being possible in future development, based upon the story so far. Definitely one to check out and follow!

Starts off pretty strong but loses steam really quick. If you are looking for a solid storyline and character development this isn't the game you are looking for. There are many unrealistic scenarios (even by nsfw game standard) that really bring down the experience IMO. Only reason I'm giving this one 2/5 is the renders look really good and, most importantly, natural which is something you don't see enough of.

Love this game....
The women are natural looking and hot. The graphics are good and game play is pretty straight forward except when to sleep. That took me a while to figure out lol.

Also the gay angle is interesting as I wonder how the MC will go about convincing girls that he is not gay after a while. Must say so far the only girl that intrigue me is the redhead but mainly the owner of the gym.

Of course he's "roommate" also...

Graphic is wonderful. Appreciate the variation of model all seems good for me (besides the one having too much freckles).

Points to be improved: game mechanism is too simple and lacking so do the story plot. Hope there will be improvement on both side

I personally enjoy the story a lot. The MC who has hit the rock-bottom, decides to turn a new leaf and find a job he could be good at and even enjoy it, and so he starts working in an all-female gym under the pretense of being gay. Obviously his motives are less than honorable, but that kind of changes as the story goes forward and he gets to know the different ladies and he actually connects with them and starts to genuinely care for them, especially Amy, the lead female character (so far she's been the lead female character).

I really like how each of the character has their own distinctive personality, and the further the story goes, the more we actually get to know the characters, we get to know why they are how they are, which of course helps me decide if I like them or not as a person; in example now this latest update helped me understand the bodybuilder chick, at first she came off obnoxious and a bully, but now that I know her better I actually like her and want to help her with her issues and hopefully she and MC will get in better terms, become friends or maybe...something more, hmm?
Obviously my favorite ladies are Amy and the Cousin (I'm bad at remembering names, takes me time to memorize them), but now I actually like the bodybuilder chick too.

What I absolutely appreciate too, is the fact that the models look rather natural, Amy especially, looking like her supposed age rather than the usual "I'm 45 years old, a mother of three, but I look younger and hotter than my 25 year-old daughter", Amy is definitely still rocking it, she's a true MILF, haha.

This is absolutely one of the VNs I'm absolutely anticipating updates for, because the story is great and I really want to get to know and get closer to Amy and the Cousin, and now the bodybuilder too, why not the Asian swimmer and even the business owner too, there's potential with each of them, can't wait to see where things go.

I found this Virtual novel by accident. Someone had mentioned it in a different post and i decided to check it out.
Didnt read the comments for the game, just saw the tags and liked what i saw. And so far the game has been great.
The part i like the most is the hint button on the game. No second guessing or trying to figure things out while you're emerged in it.
The latest patch surprised me the most, due to the change of the character Amy. The attention starved lonely housewife. And if this was the only good thing of the game, I would still come back for this game; just to see what her ending is. While still donating to the patreon. lol

I don't normally give such a high score to a game near it genesis state, but honestly, this is one of those rare occasions that I have to break that rule.

This streamlined little game is everything I like in my Visual Novel adventures, without all the skills management and guess work or money worries like the others.

As of this writing, there is really only three places the MC can go. Four or five of you include hanging out with some of the girls at the local arcade and a bowling alley.

The writing is fun and light hearted but contains some interesting things like a choice to be aggressive or sensitive with particular characher(s) in how you want to proceed.

And aside from a few girls, most of these ladies are more realistically shaped when compared to other games. There is even a chubby lady that is fun as hell to mess with and yet still so sexy.

The DEV really out some top notch effort is making a more quality project then just "Here is some tits and some ass, hope you like my three additional scenes per release." And I find that very refreshing to see.

I will be adding this game to my keeping list and watching it for future updates.

Do you like to play games where the MC all of sudden gets super powers and corrupts all the women around him? Do you like to play games where you discover a secret formula and use drugs to corrupt those around you?

This is game is about the MC whom after getting cheated on decides to pretend he's gay to join an all female GYM as a trainer (lame and cliched which is why the writer drops that subplot quickly). There he deals with mature women who have body issues and either has the option to be romantic or build on those issues further to increase their dependence on him.

In short the perfect game that satisfies all my fetishes. You don't have to be some limp dick beta MC lusting after his mom for it to be a decent corruption MILF game. Going to drop another Dev on patron and donate to this guy he deserves it.

I really hope he continues with this game! I love the redhead and how her tits and body. Also the asian is extremely attractive. i hope there are future scenes with the cousin as well. she has a great figure. maybe something with the black chick as well as she has an amazing ass

It's refreshing to see an erotic game with different types of women and bodies, younger and older, toned muscles and chubby bottoms, perky tits, and saggy ones... I'm sick of seeing always the same 3D models of women in this kind of games: the younger always look like slim top models and the older, like siliconed pornstars, all tits and hips and no belly at all even if it is suppose they have given birth four times. That doesn't happen in this game.

Now, the bad points:

The game is too simple: talk a few times with every women when you find them, and eventually you will obtain a sexy scene. It doesn't feel like a real game. There are no real decisions. Just "Groundhog Day Effect", repeating the same conversations again and again everyday.

The premise of a straight guy that needs to simulate to be gay in order of getting a job in a place full of women is not very original, but it could be funny. Maybe if the guy were forced to simulate to be a total fag, there could be funny situations and scenes, by exploiting the absurdity and ridiculousness of the situation. But it's not the case. The guy just say "I'm gay" and everybody believes him. When he starts hitting on every women nobody cares or is surprised. At the end, the plot becomes in a excuse to see a guy having sex with different women.

Also, there could be more fetishes, and more kinky ones. Just vanilla sex man-women is kind of boring after a while.

The game is in a early stage of development, so I think some of those defects can be corrected. I really hope that, in a while, I'll have reasons to delete this review and write a better one.

As of v0.1 the game is 3 stars!
Not much to the story yet and not a whole lot going on just going to the gym and going back home at least it has a few H scenes.
The characters look decent with two looking pretty good.
In future updates i'll change the rating if it gets better.
