I think the biggest bonus for those is animations, cumshots you can photoshop one image but doing it to several hundred frames, consistently? Not happening. And the water a subdivided plane and a displacement modifier work fine for stills, but animation is again a different matter. Physics sims don't loop nicely though, which might be an issue.
That's definitely true. Fortunately I'm working on bringing in a lot less looped animations where this won't be a problem. Still in the experimental stage of what works and doesn't and if the time involved is worth the outcome. So far it's looking good. The cumshots took about 30 hours over 3 days to learn but now I can get them out within 5 minutes. (Insert joke about stamina)
It depends on solver, many allow you to set "goal states" and invert the work to get you there rather than purely forward simulation.
With some light editing, got it to loop. If I actually plan a simulation with looping in mind, it should be even less noticeable.

Soph saga is wonderful. It felt really organic, and the conversations felt like a intimate connection. worth waiting for this game so far. Looking forward to the rest of it! I do kinda hope that the other girls get sweet stuff like that related to the character architype!

I can't see any obvious difference between that and the old, which I presume is the point. Reminds me that I'd love to see more fun with Jenna and the machines though. Maybe having her slip a vibrating egg inside while doing her workout?

nice work with the general lighting as well man, looks so much smoother and has more depth of field.
can't help but feel like maybe you went a tad overboard with the blur on the mirrors, but at this point this is just nitpicking.

Good eye! I threw smudges on the mirror but it came out weird along with the yoga mats needing textures. Decided to save it for later as I stayed up till 8am and had an appointment in a few hours.
Although at this point in the game, cum stains on the mirror make more sense than fingerprints tbh.

Looks more like a poor colour transform function than lack of shading to me, the whole before image the highlights look burned out.
