Nope, according to other people it's causing multiple issues and razor1977 has stated that it tries to create a malware file in your system when you run the exe.

100%, first i put a exception for the first file and restored it, then i cut off net access using firewall, then i launched the game and waited with the task manager loaded and watched it try to install said husbandship.exe, once i seen this i knew automatically electron exe was trying to install it due to tm command line function, then i placed the electron exe back into quarantine and then posted here, also i still have the zip file and using free download manager i was able to determine the place i downloaded it from was indeed gofile "

Downloaded from gofile and it blocked electron.exe, windows defender is completely up to date. Hopefully it's a false positive.

So the updated version has a malicious trojan but it's still allowed on the font page? All the links should be wiped and reverted to the previous stable release and the person who shared the initial updated version banned.

You can, you know, report broken or dangerous links to the mods I'm sure they can deal with it more efficiently that way

I can confirm chrome closing and husbandship.exe running in task manager when I start up the game. Both the mega and gofile versions. Win 10 defender clears the zip, don't have anything else installed on current pc.

EDIT - this started after I manually ran the electron.exe to see what it was, before it was fine.

Appdata/Roaming/<this game's folder>/Session Storage

That's from memory cus I deleted everything to do with this game. Electron.exe appears in above location AFTER I run the game. The husbandship.exe process appears in task mgr after running electron.exe from the above folder.

husbandship.exe was part of the milfania malware from yesterday
also the same file from yesterday (solution.exe) was also seen named as electron.exe

1) there should be no electron .exe file in the Appdata/Roaming/ folders;

2) the .exe file - even though it's an electron file - is CALLED game.exe

this is what you are supposed to find in the previous Appdata/Roaming/<this game's folder>/Session Storage folder safe version uploaded here (0.67), after you played the game more and more and more:



Even though the Author reworked the game, I DON'T see any reason why you might find anything else in this latest 0.73 update.

I dled both the mega link from the original post by Bertorini and the gofile one subsequently posted by the same user. I know this game is made with electron, but I'm not referring to the game.exe in the install folder. It's the electron.exe file copied to Appdata/Roaming with v73 when you run it which could be a virus.

- there is no 0.73 MEGA link;

- there never was any .exe whatsoever in the Appdata/Roaming folder: I see no reason why there should be an .exe file in the Appdata/Roaming folders NOW.

Tested v67, it DOES NOT copy electron.exe to Appdata/Roaming like v73 does. Definitely a legit concern. I only went thru this trouble because I was the one reported both of the links for update. Fucking hell.

I did, brave and stupid yes, but it went fine. Checked files and folders and everything is in order (no reason to believe me even if I show screenshots, buut even after v63 and deleted v70 there is still not enough content to bother )

Yeah, and that strange. Probably mods/uploaders used gofile link for different uploads on the main page, but it was corrupted for some reason, while mega link is ignored by them, so we now in this situation
