The thing is that some choices give a boost to certain character stats, which are not visible to the player, but directly affect the subsequent dialogsIt really is clumsy. Looking through the scripts I don't get why they did half of what they did, it seems needlessly cumbersome for what it actually does. I'd have to disagree about the choices making a difference. So far they really change fuck all. Unless you count changing a disposition, but I don't. It could matter later on but id doesn't now.
And there are already A LOT of stats
