Are the cave ins openable somehow or is it just a placeholder for development?
Can you accept the dragon's offer to become a cobrabold? I couldnt find how.
ok. so two things. first yes the cave in sections are just place holders for now. and second there is a plan to have istara( the big dragon past the slimes) to TF the player. that's the part of the game currently in development, and her npc functionality isn't complete yet. though if you would like a sneak peak at what that's going to look like you could join the discord to see her animations thus far.

Oh, huh. I guess I should've figured this game would make it here at some point.
I've been following your development silently, and I suppose I should give feedback at least...
I wish the scenes didn't result in a game over, since most of the grabs just have you struggling to escape with the healthbar you have and they don't progress until that's empty, which is a shame... Coulda been good to have them progressively drain your health while the animation continues and loops (past the grab stage, i mean) - and only really gameover/curse you if your health runs out at any point. This would allow the player to see the animation outside of a gallery in full and STILL keep going after seeing it, as opposed to having to sacrifice a life (or in this case some progress) to do so.

Aside from that...
it's a promising thing you're working on, and I shall watch your progress as I have done before. The platforming is a little clunky, but otherwise the game is very playable and I haven't encountered anything gamebreaking, which is more than can be said about half the projects that get uploaded here. The scenes are great for what they are, and it's shaping up to have a good variety of creatures.
I mean, some of the horny along with the kink is highlighted with the game over. :sneaky:

I'm confused as to what you mean. in the settings for the game which can be accessed through the inventory (its the wrench button) you can change the player sex and the enemy's sex. if you like boy on boy, or being a female protagonist with the monsters being male that very much a thing you can do.
when the game only gives you the option at the start to choose player sex, doesnt tell where the options are (recommend an esc menu) an doesnt say you can choose enemy sex, you assume its only one way. however this is good information to know, thank you. i recommend also adding it to the dev notes on the first page

Ah, good to see this game getting some more recognition. Will gladly follow it along here, and very excited to see what else you got in store.

that's fair. i do have sign entities which explain some of the mechanics. i def need to work on a a better tutorial though.

but I like struggling and mashing buttons while debating how many loops of the cool animation I wanna see before I free myself and make some actual progress.
Iunno, game-over ONLY scenes are strangely unsatisfying IMO... I like having the option to escape and continue but deliberately not taking it.

I am infatuated with all of the unique interactions the monsters have with each other and their environment, and I find myself constantly coming back just to try something different while getting caught - finding the house gallery and how scenes were saved just based on encountering them before was also really nice, though I wonder how hard it will be to get to without a map or way to quickly return as the game gets more content.

my biggest concern is that I platform past most everything or try to tank the grapples because the player's attack lacks enough reach to justify the risk, also opening a chest and not knowing that I actually received any equipment.

also if it's not too much work consider making less enemies grapple on contact and focus more on their hitbox becoming active while they're 'swiping' for the player - kind of like how you have the bigger badder slimes doing, because the initial feel I had for getting past the bees was to just escape grapples until I hit the next save beacon.

I'm glad your enjoying my game that much ^_^. as for navigating the map I have a plan for that once the game gets big enough. I'm planning on having a map entity in safe areas. it will be a fast travel method where you can go to any safe place with a map. for the hitboxes, i agree. the general sentiment I'm getting is that combat and grabs bee a bit of a overhaul. I'm definitely planning on going back to some of the older enemy's and giving them specific grab hitboxes instead of just having there hitbox also be the grab hit box. anyways thanks for the feed back and expect more content soon. this game is my focus for the next few weeks so I'm hoping to get a few things out before the years end.

I gave the game a spin and I'd like to give some feedback:

First off, i think for what it is, the game is done pretty well. The fact that you have different animations based on gender with variations of enemies should be applauded. Slime girls (my personal favorite) are done pretty well and I'd hope to see one that just keeps you inside her in the future (if feasible). Overall concept and gameplay behind the game works pretty well and seems balanced (once you get the hang of the hitboxes).

That being said there are a few areas that if improved could potentially give Mystic Knight Maya a run for its money. Let me preemptively say that I know that this is just an alpha, but I'll speak a bit more candidly to get to the point.

1. The sound design could use some improvements. Having some unique sound bits that play for specific enemies and their specific animations (which will definitely be more work) would be great .
2. Different animations for weapons. Currently there's definitely a difference in speed and power, but having the arc of the attack change based on the weapon would be great (bigger weapons = bigger hitbox).
3. Adding an evade button and animation would work a lot better for this game if you didn't want to work on the hitboxes as much. This is would be specifically useful when fighting the batgirl as just running left/right and moving one direction at the last second is bit annoying (same with dodging the bee girls).
4. Screen size options are going to be a must. I don't know if it was just me, but I was playing full screen with two huge white sections on both sides (think of an non-supported ultra wide for comparison) even though my cpu is only 1920 x 1080.
5. Drain attacks could be a huge boon to the game. Although I don't personally mind seeing the series of animations after you lose, having some drain attacks could be great for the game. Specifically, have the animation escalate which leads to a player climaxing and taking significant health damage (imo this is better than waiting for 10-15 seconds to die. You could lower the initial grab and hold damage and take big chunk if the player climaxes). This of course would add more work to your scope, but i think it would worthwhile in the long run.

I hope this feedback does not come off as rude because as I said this game is pretty good already. I'd love this see more developers in this genre finding success.

love the feed back! glad you enjoying the game so far, and I'm def going to be improving the combat sometime in the future. i have gotten some great feedback and this is certainly more of it. from what i see its clear the game is alright currently combat wise but could use some major improvements. it might take a while since I'm trying to get out a new update with a npc quest and a new enemy before years end. but after that i will likely spend some significant time improving combat and other features.

a sign in the tiger's area (cave to immediate right of cabin) can't be closed in the online version (sign text: Feelings of Fear are powerful tools for driving someone forward) , pressing W, spacebar, etc does nothing. Edit: doesn't break in the download version
