Liked the story but hate the godot.
If left long enough it chugs the memory until eventually hit like 30 gigs virtual commit, then freeze and crash.

seems legit I guess

Any saves from v11 onwards? The game has decided that it will only recognize my progress in the gallery, but will not load any saves...

And before you ask, yes I had already started over after v11.

this game's kind of disappointing. I guess VIRTUES worked because it was simple, but when you add a complicated background and more game "systems", it just shows how immature the writing really is. Whole story is just locked behind points and you're just scouring the map for points. What's the point? It would have been better as a linear novel.

Games really well made imo. Not too grindy but it is there. The story is alright at the start, but once the MC starts to develop his strength it gets better. The MC just feels really passive and kind of in the background early on. His personality isn't bad with how direct he can be but i feel like the writer keeps bouncing back and fourth between an alpha and beta mentality. I like his Alpha male mentality while still being caring with the girls. The phrase "you can talk the talk but can you walk the walk" comes to mind early on. After a very long time of playing he finally starts to develop some character growth which I've been waiting for. The games slow with the erotic scenes pretty spread out at the start. It get better later on... Like much later on, but once you break open that barrier they come pretty quick. The animations and dialog during the sex scenes is well made, like S tier imo. All in all, worth playing.

I’ve been testing this game, and the writing is just so cringey and dumb. I can't help but facepalm every time the characters say or do something ridiculous. It feels like the game relies way too much on obvious porn logic and clichés, which is really frustrating. I've tried to get into the plot, but it’s hard when the writing is so clumsy, lazy, and boring. The characters’ actions and dialogues just feel thrown together, making it all less engaging.

And don’t get me started on the Godot engine. It’s more of a burden than a benefit for the player. I don’t get why the devs didn’t just go with Ren'py. It’s way more flexible, user-friendly, and would’ve made things so much easier.

The sandbox gameplay choice doesn’t make sense either. There are no real decisions that affect the story, just “flavor choices.” Money has no real purpose, the map actions are super repetitive and too grindy. It honestly feels like a visual novel disguised as a sandbox, or even a kinetic novel since choices don't matter. Plus, you can’t even choose which girls you want to pursue, making it all feel like a missed opportunity for a more engaging experience.

Maybe I was too hopeful thinking this second game would be better than the first, which also disappointed me with its lack of a real plot and pretty forgettable characters. I remember getting bored halfway through—aside from some forced, uninteresting drama, everything just felt repetitive and pointless. Now, I’m seeing the same issues with the main character that I had in Virtues. He’s this detached, fake guy who’s always putting himself down and letting people walk all over him. He doesn’t seem to have much direction, switching his attitude and values constantly. He also acts super awkward around women, like a cringey, inexperienced teen.

Overall, I wasn’t really satisfied with the game. The writing isn’t great, and the story feels pretty unbelievable. The characters act in weird, illogical ways and are kind of shallow and uninteresting. There are way too many plot shortcuts and lazy porn logic just to throw in some random, pointless lewd scenes. I gave it a shot to see what it was about, but it feels like the dev is just repeating the same mistakes (and formula) from his first game, which is kind of disappointing. Plus, the game design choices, like the sandbox and the Godot engine, just don’t do it for me. It’s not my thing, but it’s fine—there are plenty of better AVNs out there to enjoy.

Edit : I also find the constant flashbacks that rewind to just two minutes before in the same scene pretty annoying, especially the pixelated effect that distorts the image. It doesn’t really serve any purpose and just gets in the way.

These weird, colorful silhouette NPCs are also pretty unsettling. If they were in the background among rendered NPCs, it wouldn’t be as bad, but seeing them front and center all the time is jarring. It also feels like the dev got lazy and couldn’t be bothered to create random secondary characters, which would’ve been easy in HS. It’s just odd. I could have discussed many other aspects of the game, but I focused on what bothered me the most.

well, I didn't feel like going too in-depth, but okay.

The "cringe" ^&*( and characters were okay. It's more like a girlfriend simulator/AI where you're going for "cute" moments. The plot just had no logical sense at all. I had a problem with That.

The gameplay is just VIRTUES, but worse. I don't remember if it was the same in VIRTUES, but 2 separate girls info pages, so I didn't even find out about the "Status" page at first. The whole game is just about chasing affection, and checking the Status page to see which girl isn't currently capped. Then they added another dumb "girl", the club. That's the whole game, because I already know where the girls are, and I just have to check the Status page, and then hunt down points of the map. It's not fun, it's just a chore. The game is pretty much linear with a chore attached to it. And the affection scenes just get repetitive. Each bracket is 5 points of affection, and then there's some minor changes to the scenes.

Yes, I also hated the pixelated flashback ^&*(. Mostly because the pixel effect is f-in delayed and make no f-in sense.

Like the Huff guy said tho. It's pretty much all about the lewd, you just have to push through the ^&*( and get to them.

Edit: I didn't mean to imply that I hate this game. I really don't. This guy can cook where it matters. I just don't enjoy the gameplay process that much.
