So, old saves are not working at all or they're working, but by not starting new game you don't get to see added scenes like in previous update? If saves are not working at all, i doubt i'm gonna play from the beginning for at least several more updates.
Old saves "should" still work. However, there are new scenes and images that will be unavailable if you load ahead of them, as they were added to early parts of the game (most of these scenes concern Rachel).
There are also new variables to some events, so there's a chance even some new events might not fire for sure.
I heavily recommend starting a new game. We don't expect to ask you to restart again in the next few updates (hopefully never tbh), as we have finished proofreading almost all the old content and revamping some scenes that were causing trouble.

A new game? In that case, as beefy as this update looks, I think I'll be better off waiting for the next update before I jump back into it.

Seriously? UNFINISHED not mean that need restart always every update! Mean that more story and future contents will be add later not redone and rework theese past episodes
