The new intro explains that the characters' relationships are fiction, there is also information that the characters from the game are actors making a huge porn production, Monica and Kevin are presented as friends, Risa got the role because she looks a bit like Lina.
If patreon still finds a problem with this, Dev can add a story about the adoption of individual characters to the fiction, which won't be difficult, just two sentences and an image of an orphanage or a story about adopting a deceased friend's child, ect.
All players know what the relationships are between the characters anyway

Both are in terrible need of a dedicated update, but imo Jen needs it more.
It feels like her story was told up to the halfway point and then the game forgot about it.
