probably my own fault for getting too invested in the characters, but the new intro really rubs me the wrong way.

i know at the end of the day photo hunt is a silly porn game, but now playing with the knowledge that nobody in the game actually is who they say they are and none of the feelings are real is... bizarre.

I know it is not much consolation, but the new intro is not actually canon, and was only added to adhere to the new stricter rules on Patreon.
But I think we all found the new intro bizarre, with most of us thinking the same thing about it.

A lot of people still don't know they added a new intro, since there was never really a reason to restart the game until lately when most of the old content got rerendered, since Moochie never messed up our saves. :unsure:

But in the end it was either that and keep the game or have it be rushed to the ending or abandoned. :coffee:

Fair enough, I guess I can headcanon it as the characters just acting like they're actors on a film set...

My issue was not so much the incest stuff, but the way they did this intro they basically retconned the entire game, and not just the genre itself.
For the longest time MC was accepted as just being the adoptive son of Evelyn and Harry, but they ran into the issue of other characters in the game like Kevin and Monica, Lina and Risa, and others being blood related instead.

I would love to hear what other ideas they had instead of the movie set.

Where's that intro? In the very beginning of the game? I'm playing the current update from my previous saves and thankfully haven't seen it yet.

You guys are aware that the new intro was only made to prevent patreon from cracking down on the game? At this point in the story there is too much incest stuff going on that you can't just explain away with a child being adopted (Kevin and Monica, Lina and Risa, Chan-Mi and her brother, something about Brianna and her dad I believe (even though only mentioned), and Grace and Oksana?).

We all know that the intended relationships are the "original" ones.

oh kevin fucks monica? wow.
lina and risa sexing with each other? wow 2.

grace and oksana aren't bloodrelated atm although oksana acts like she is.
