Why do people hate a little bit of grind so much. Personally I am sick of the VN model of rapidly clicking for 30 minutes, make decision, rapidly clicking for 30 minutes, make decision, rinse repeat, rinse repeat until the game is finished.

You wanna know why people hate sandbox grinds? Go play something like foot of the mountains or lucky mark.

As far as I can tell, there is one scene where both of them feature. Additionally, there is one fetish scene with Eve that most people will not vibe with, I suspect.

Honestly, without text, I'm unsure what's happening in the scene. The scene definitely focuses on Jen. To be fair, most renders are Jen-centered with other characters making appearances.

This game ain't nothing like either of those nor like many "normal" grindy sandboxes.

With Shawns mod, game becomes pretty much a VN after you decide where to go

The only con about this game is the sandbox.

Yeah, I stopped playing probably 2/3 of the way through due to the repetitive nature of the grind. Repeating #1/#2/#3/etc events that are all in the same area just to progress got to be tiring and not much fun, even with the mod installed.

I have to agree with you. The ”grind” helps with pacing and introduces some tension and delayed fulfillment. This lets us go through periods of high activity and low activity. So when we get a big scene we feel we worked into it and we get a bit of a buzz. I did not find the grind too bad in this game. The required activities are well enough directed, so at least you know what to do and why you are doing it.

I also want to say, that this game has some of the best latex/bdsm, all out lust fueled sweat inducing scenes. They genuinely capture and express the depravity and sexual need.

See my above comment. It'd be one thing if the grind was interesting, but in PH it just serves to "inch along the girls a tiny bit at a time". And it isn't even interesting dialog or scenes, just 4-5 repeats at the same area (like the sauna or dining area at the brothel). And of course you have to have the funds to progress this, which /can be/ a totally separate grind of it's own.

I don't often drop AVNs more than halfway through, but I did due to the uninteresting grind here, sadly. I've seen worse games for sure, but only a handful.

I feel like people who complain about grind are not utilizing all the games features to full potential. If you only try to do 1 thing at a specific place/time and skip everything else you essentially extend the game way more than it should be extended. You should do many differeny things for every full day from morning til night not try to skip time and spam afternoon events only for example. Money is also not hard to come by as you progress Warehouse in the morning and sell more and more pictures to bathroom dudes. And I don't see the need for any mods as ingame walkthrough is all you need or phone hints.

Overall I started fresh in the previous update, but played current update to full as well, and it took me under 500 ingame days to pretty much cover every variation of every event. Did not skip time ever. For absolutely massive game I think that's not grind heavy at all. I can't remember the name of the game right now, but there was this one which would require about 500 ingame days grind for love interest to wear slightly shorter skirt... now that's grind.
