Ok, so I tested this out for you, and your achievements will be reset on your "main save" if you choose yes, you can then earn the rewards from them on your new playthrough, but you will not earn any of the rewards if you choose not to reset them.
It is pretty much a personal preference, you will never really need those stats or the money by the time you start unlocking most of them regardless, if you just farmed a bit at the start and bought everything from the pawn shop anyway.

I guess it must be quite difficult or even impossible to code it in a different way in Renpy, but I think that every new playthtough should allow the players to unlock all the achievements again without having to reset the whole thing.

I want the story to move forward as fast as I can so I get to see the different scenes that I missed, so this time I'll definitely be using the patreon cheat code and a bit of extra gradual stat cheating

Yes, you still get the intro, that is what I tried explaining to others when they kept saying there is a patch. I was like yes, it changes them saying they are all related but people don't want the "porn shoot" intro and all and just want the old intro at the bus stop.

And there is a thread for malware, it would be listed there if it was ever affected and this has been posted for months now.

Absolutely no problem, was one of those things where I got curious too, so why not test it out and be able to share the information in the future if someone else asks!
As for the system, it is kind of decrepit, they moved away from using money or stats for most stuff later on in the game, so I don't see an issue at all about using the mods to get all that done at the start of the game if it is your 2nd, 3rd, playthrough and so on.
Game only gets buggy when you use the mod to switch the routes inside a save anyway.

A certain member of their team decided to spread some bad information about that patch (not the first time they did ), and most of us old-timers never bothered to test it out, so we just passed along the information we had from the official source.
Went back and corrected my answers for anyone searching about it in the future, after testing it myself, after reading your comment.
And sadly most of the dedicated and skilled modders of the community either passed away, left F95, or went missing, so I am not surprised no mod was made to remove the movie set intro in all honesty.

I mean I know why they added that "shoot" and it was explained and I have zero issue with it. I mean we all know "that patch" just didn't magically appear the same day as this version did. There could easily be another patch that can "skip" to the "bus stop" intro.

The best thing I can say is make a save file right after that, and now you forever have the restored "intro"

I had never restarted the game in more than a year, I had no reason to, since saves never have once been broken.

The one you are missing is from one of the college scenes, I don't remember if it is from a choice during the bully scene, or if you just had to hang around.
The picture itself does not even have Evelyn in it, so you are not missing out on anything.
It is possible to miss a few of the messages since some of them are dialogue dependant, and not always obvious either.

I checked the latest android port made by the66 and it doesn't show me the porn stage intro. I don't know if the files were deleted or if it's because of the patch, maybe the66 is the genius we need

Technically all you have to do is remove the "prologue" folder from the "images" folder, then start the game, it will just boot up from where the old prologue would have normally started you at (the bus stop) without any errors.
Tested it out just now, so I guess that is why nobody bothered to make a mod, let alone make one that would delete files.

Maybe I should apply for the modder tag now.

I thought it was more complicated and that the game would crash if the player delete the folder.

That was my initial thought too, but I guess nobody cared to try before I did just now.
So either it was just that easy, or it was made on purpose to be removed if you wanted to (just like how a patch for the new intro dropped the day it was added to the game to change the dialogue ).
I was fully expecting that to be scripted to run when you first start a new game, and if you removed it you would just get endless Ren'Py errors.

For Evelyn? Not really, she gets some variation in renders and dialogue for certain scenes (mostly work), and her major part of that story is pretty much done for now until you decide what to do with Alice.
With Alice you now have the major choice of if she should continue working at the RM after getting fired, or if you are going to help her and Will get back together, which results in her leaving her job as a maiden, this route eventually leads to her making up with Evelyn, while the RM route leads her to take out revenge instead.

that's not simple patch thing, would need to dig into code and remove it and that's not worth the effort.

And if you remove the prolgue script, it is still scripted in the main script.

Ok, so in the name of science I deleted all my saves and the game folder from my PC, I assume the Fiona update is nowhere near complete anyway, so I got time to recreate my saves.
To replicate the intro never showing again you just play it once -> save after the intro -> remove the folder.
After that no matter what you try to do the game will not play the intro again, and to get it back you have to completely remove Photo Hunt from your computer.
Not very useful, do what you will with this information, but now we know.
