First of all, cheats in game must be installed manually every time an update is released. If you had cheats for version 0.25 and you installed a new game version 0.26 - cheats will automatically stop working. You need to wait until someone crack game code and send here cheat file that will work on the new version of the game. Or... download from Patreon game with pre-installed cheats.
As for the screen with character stats, it may be a bug that is caused by old version of cheats, which are not compatible with the new update.
I checked the new update and everything works fine, and also old saves from 0.25 version works fine.

I think it was the compressed version having issues with the cheats and or files. I downloaded the full version and everything is fine now.

Sound can actually be a somewhat difficult thing to do, depending on the specific sounds and situation. For instance, during a sex scene, if there are noises like the slap of thighs against a girl's ass, those are pretty easy to get out of sync... which is IMO worse than having no sound.

There are also volume levels to consider. IDK how many even non-adult games I've played where the music drastically overpowers the voice during cutscenes, and there have been no controls provided to adjust the sound levels. Obviously that's not an issue with Ren'Py (unless a developer has specifically removed sliders from Preferences for some stupid reason). But even still, balancing sound levels — which can also manually be done in the code and isn't only controlled via the sliders — does take some consideration and work to get right. The balance in one scene or area very often doesn't match the balance needed in a different scene or area. Just like with rendering or with writing, sound design and implementation is an artform; not everyone has sound engineering as a forte.

Anyway, the point is that sound takes more work than you might think. There are also obviously things like copyright and cost to consider for sounds as well. Since each developer has their own budget that will be different than someone else's, they have to weigh that cost vs. what other assets they might want or feel they need for their VN / game. And since there actually are many people (who have specifically said so on F95Zone) who don't like having sounds in their games, the dev might decide that it's a waste if people won't listen to the sounds provided.

Also, ofc, beauty is in the eye of the beholder (or the ear of the listener, in this case). You may not like any of the music used, and that's fair to point out. But the dev might really like the songs and think they work well. I have no idea, but the dev might even have done a poll and had supporters vote on it or something. I personally am kind of neutral on the music in this. I don't hate it, but I definitely feel like I've heard better. I just kind of shrug and move on.

I'm kinda clueless about why it's taking so long. You should probably ask the dev about that.
But, my guess is it's been slow since dev redid the character emotions. (You know, like when the girls stopped having dead eyes and started actually opening their mouths and showing emotions.)
Maybe that makes each render take longer. Plus, the dev doesn't have their own powerful PC, he rent one online. But, that's just my guess and theory, I don't really know and can't say for sure."
