grind has been reduced significantly since version 0.20

It does work, I've tested it before posting.

Most likely reason why it doesn't work are :
-you didn't install properly
-you are using it on an older version of the game
-small bug that reverted the file to original (this happened to me once when I tested the first time I made the cheat enabler). If this is the case, then just reinstalling it will fix the problem.

You need to complete a quest that is pre-requisite to unlocking it.

That's weird, I don't have that problem.
The cheat menu is made by the dev, the files I share just activates it. Normally the cheat menu is for patreon only but I found a way to get the activation code from the game files.
You should report this bug to the game's dev on his discord.
