What do you mean by original version? download from dev site? I'm getting same issue.

The original version is not the compressed version. It is in the topic header. There is no need to go anywhere - except to donate for development - so to speak.

I mean, you need to download clean game from the links that are now in the OP. (Not the compressed version etc)
Delete old versions from your comp, if there are any. And install this new version.
If problem remains, then you need to look for a problem on your part and your PC.

This never popped up before for any renpy game, I know about false positives and I've scanned the files with 2 different AV's but they only scan the files themselves while SmartScreen stops an exe from running if it's trying something shady.



If it is indeed a false positive then why did nobody take 2 minutes of their time to submit the exe and register it with all the AV's and Microsoft. That's all it takes just 2 minutes. I run "Unrecognized apps" all the time and SS never stopped them before. Thanks for the share anyway.

My computer does this every time I try to play any game that is just on my desktop. It doesn't do it to any games I have in my external hard drive. I don't know why exactly it does it, but if I play from the desktop, I just press "run anyway". Never had any issues with it.

LOL. Mine's opposite. Games on computer no problem, games on external drives have the warning (but same, I hit 'Run Anyway' and never had a problem.

I posted my encounter two pages ago:

Norton quarantined the .exe file from the 'Gofile' download.

The 'Pixeldrain' download was fine - no quarantine and the AVN runs just fine.

I run these off an external drive - as an FYI.

I don't see any point in continuing - don't start the game on external drives check your computer for viruses or reinstall Windows.

Cheat activation files

Version : Universal (maybe, I'll have to make sure once v0.27 comes out)

Install instruction :
Extract into "PillKing-0.XX" folder (same place as PillKing.exe)
Merge folders and over write files if prompted.

Kayaa I've made a new post for the cheat because the game files structure has changed a lot and I think I managed to make the mod universal.

This isn't working for me. Cheat menu is not showing. Version: 0.26

Delete the folder with the old game.
Delete the folder along the path as well " C:\Users\Name\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\ "
Download a new version of the game - preferably uncompressed.
Download - Cheat activator.rar
Unzip "Cheat_activator" and put the folder "Game" into the game folder with file replacement .
Run the game - everything should work...

This is from a simple web search and taken directly from MS Website.

Simply put if Smartscreen hasn't seen the app or website before, it gives a warning.. More often then not Smartscreen is a preemptive tool to give the user a choice and the app is safe. This coming from an 25 year IT Professinal MCP/CCNA/MCNA/MCNP certified

Well said - that's what it means you studied at school a long time ago... You're forgetting the terminology.
If Smartscreen gives a warning too often, then something is definitely wrong.

In the simplest of terminology; if you are worried about false positives, viruses, and the potential damage to hardware, data and even livelihood that can be caused by said infections.. Then you really shouldn't be visiting pirate sites to begin with.

Also, I've never had an alert from any download off this site. Computer ecosystems are complex and fickle. Difference in in locale, hardware, drivers, other installed software, each are variables that can trigger different alerts in different circumstances.
