It really makes no sense to give the players a chance to see the consequences of their actions in PE1, only to write them off & ignore them in the 11th dialogue line. Even dumber to use existing characters, to tell an already-existing story, that players can play whenever they want.

Nothing about PE2 says "evolution", just a replay of events we've already seen. And it is that missed potential that hurts the most.

Not quite true. PE2 took longer to release because the dev rewrote the script halfway through the process. He said nothing about extending dev times going forward. You should still expect 0.2 to release by the end of August.

It's a little disappointing the way this game is going. I remember in the earlier game Julia made many decisions herself, sometimes hesitantly but generally things happened because she wanted it. while this one is more like other NTR games where the horny husband/bf exposes his wife to others without telling her, which really cringes me out, and that is what the 2 decisions in this one felt like so far. Of course, if you lead her along the path of maximum seduction, then at some point she will act without asking your permission for each step. If you behave in a less straightforward manner, then she will also constantly appeal to you before doing anything.

yeah you can only control the mc's choices but how the choices are presented also matter. for example in the first game i think she is about to kiss the other guy and you have the option of the mc interrupting with 'pineapple express', so she is still portrayed as someone doing things. in the new one, the choice is to expose her to some rando without her knowledge and i think another one later is also 100% initiated/done by the mc without much being done by her.

When Cornell and Julia leave for the day, it was because "they found" the hidden camera and leaving for the day was the MC's punishment. I never did play where you didn't have enough points to keep going back for more. I guess if you didn't have enough naughty or slut points or whatever they were called, maybe that didn't happen.
