Apart from the reasoning behind the whole plot (gf pretending to be friends gf to his mom, not sure if the reason was ever really explained), I found the corruption fairly plausible. They're sharing a bed etc, makes sense if something was to develop. That's what made the whole cheating part of this story so hot for me, better if Cornell didn't know about the camera's in my opinion. But the pay off was pretty bad in my opinion. I might be in the minority, but I find cheating simultaneously hot and evil. First relationship I was ever in I was cheated on, and even though I didn't love the girl, being cheated on wrecked me for years.

I would really like if one of these games weren't just 'cheat - caught - become cuck' or 'cheat - caught - game over'.

When I finished this game, I thought how much better it would have been with one or two tiny changes to the plot, next to no added renders etc, just writing.

1 - The reason Cornell is trying to trick his family into thinking he has a GF is because his Mom is demanding he settle and start a family to inherit the family business (and become even more rich, or maintain the money he's been getting through the business.) (side note, it's been a while since I played so I don't remember why he seemed really wealthy to begin with)

2 - The consequences of Cornell and Julia cheating, obviously differing if it went down the hotwife/cuck route, would be his Mom finding out he was lying, and also was cheating with his best friends wife, she takes away his money, MC dumps Julia, and Cornell in turn dumps her not wanting to raise a child without his wealth and runs away. Julia becomes a struggling single mom while MC thrives. I know that seems a bit incelly, but I've always enjoyed karma endings, but I think the cheating kink is so heavily tied to humiliation/cuck type things that the ending is always bad on the MC, because you let the cheating route happen with the choices. Maybe I am just in the niche minority that finds the cheating aspect and buildup super hot, and then find the karma - good ending satisfying.

One thing to note here, the "cheating" path ending does have MC and Julia reconcile, IIRC.

I am just now getting into Dimajio333’s stuff. Are they all connected and do I need to play these games in any sort of order?

The language of this being “novel 3” makes me feel like it’s part of a bigger thing, but then I looked at the other games and it doesn’t look like they’re actually connected. Thanks in advance!

Not connected but you can see improvement in the later games.
