Not to be pedantic (but I'm going to be pedantic ),an automated "Abandoned" tagging system that is arbitrarily set by the F95 admins/mods based on last thread OP update, and automatically applied to game threads without any manual check/intervention
I don't think there's any automation to it? It's technically meant to happen after only 3 months of radio silence from a dev, and that's happened plenty of times without a tag being applied until someone reports it.
I do wonder how you'd even automate such a system? Input which specific socials the dev has a presence on, and create a bot to scan those socials prior to the 3-month marker for new posts, with the timer resetting each time the thread receives an update?
It seems like such a system would need a lot of manual overhead - for every single new project posted on here, you'd have to manually input which specific socials and usernames to scan for dev posts. How would it know if the dev moves socials? Another manual input? There are socials where you need to log in with a verified account in order to see the R-18 content - but I suppose the F95 team could create an account for this purpose, so that one's not an issue at least.
There's also the solo dev projects that sometimes get posted by F95 members who have no socials. Would it count their F95 as the social? But what if they're making posts that have nothing to do with their project for 3 months, does the bot have some sort of AI functionality to determine that? And could you trust it?
