Completely spot on. The dev enjoys the programming way more than pushing content out, adding more backend features to "make future content easier to add", yet never adding those future content. Feels like me when I mod Skyrim. I enjoy the install process, the troubleshooting if things go wrong, but once everything is installed and working properly, I get bored playing it after a couple of hours..
That's a thing? I figured that a dev would feel great about pushing out the content, seeing people's reaction, and then going back to add more stuff because... I mean, I guess the whole process is fun for the dev? But apparently that's not the case all the time. That's interesting actually.

Also, whenever I try to mod a game, which I finally fucking did after so long, I'm absolutely terrified of breaking the game and having to re-download it. If it were not for some very nice mod manager for the game I was modding I would have been just shitting myself during the process.

Did you have the event for it?
And is the kitchen even dirty? Should happen every 2 days

What event? I didn't pay the first rent and he told me I had to clean the kitchen. He told me when i enter the kitchen "you didnt clean the kitchen". Also kitchen is very dirty.

Dunno. I paid the first rent and afterwards he mentions it to you and shows you where the stuff is. Afterwards it's always accessible if the kitchen is dirty

Good question!
But I'm afraid, nobody will know this for sure,
since we usually only get one update per year and we just had the one for 2025.
he changed how he did free updates over the course of the years.
at the start v0.2 he had the previus update for free, with 1 update per month.
after 0.7 he changed it, the early promise of the next update is makes the current one free, to when ever he feels like it.
i liked him till than, now.
you get way more by just pireting the game, leading for him losing allot of income.
people are more genorous when the dev is fair.

He posted a update looks like it's gonna take him approximately another 5 years to complete it, so better buy a shit ton of popcorn and copium.
Do i understand this correctly? English is still not my first language, so please anyone correct me.

For this poll the dev wanted to clarify that "progression" doesn't necessarily mean "sex progression", but "expansion" definitely means "no sex for a while". And he says that based on this poll, out of the next 10 updates at least 7 will "lean towards" the result of the poll.

So let's play a hypothetical game.
Let's say that an update has at least 5 scenes, then the next 10 updates combined would have 50.
"Lean toward" means a majority, so if 3 out of 5 scenes align with the poll result, then the promise is kept.
At least 7 updates are promised to lean toward the poll results, each with at least a majority of 3, so that's a total of 21 scenes out of 50, in other words 42%.
In this theoretical game if the dev follows the results of the poll 42% of the time, then he kept his promise.

Also, according to the opening post, there have been 5 new versions in the last 2 years, so does that mean that this poll's results will only be completed by june 2029 at this rate?

i know i'm playing with technicality here and in the optimal case the wishes of the supporters and the dev aligns anyway, so this doesn't matter, but the examples are basically just teases and the whole post is incredibly vague. What's more, the whole post seem to have been written with the expressed intention of making things vague and for nobody to expect a tangible result.

Abelius is just another Patreon scammer, hell knows, the game could be already completed in his pocket, but he only drops a small portion of it each year to keep the milk flowing in his mouth from his patrons.
Didn't he go on a full rampage some months ago about how he plans to have several unreleased updates ready at all times, because he doesn't want the people who love his work, who support and pay him, you know, the subscribers who make it possible for him to work on a game, to have any "power over him"?

Rhetoric: "The art of effective or persuasive speaking or writing, especially the use of figures of speech and other compositional techniques." I give that, he is good in protecting his scammer ass with rhetoric.

And those poor souls still pay him an average of 2500$ per month for...
well...
I almost dare to say...
eventually...
in some opinion...
subjectively...

FUCKING NOTHING!

Now that he knows Pizza Hot’s reputation and perception in people is among the cesspit—He is trying to leech off from other up-and-coming projects, as he tried to do with Corruption Town without much success, so now he’s joined Life as an Innocent Waitress’s hype bandwagon and trying to gain some supporters for himself. He’s even joined their Discord server and pretends to be a neutral party... However, he still manages to discuss Pizza Hot on a different game’s server, trying to subtly advertise and drum up some attention to this milking project.

Even this comes off as trying to piggyback on someone else’s work. “Oh look, we’re both doing polls! We’re so alike, you and me! Even though mine is gated for my moronic patrons behind a $5 paywall because, of course... I like money!”

I’m 99.9% sure this poll will be a nothingburger like always.

If you’re ever feeling worthless, remember, there are people out there who have donated four figures to this “creator.” It also confirms there’s zero accountability, which is why absolutely nothing gets done. :KEK: :KEK: :KEK:

While I just recently discovered this game, I really like it.
Usually I'd love to support a game like this.

However, seeing how long the game is in development and the amount of content is not in a good relation.
Certainly I won't pry to much into the reasons why it's so (Dev's also deserve privacy), but seeing that all the time the Patreon was open despite little content to show for, is a red flag for me.

Especially, if the description on Patreon still looks like this: 27th of June 2025

So, without wanting to pry to much into the reason why the update circle is at a crawling speed, at least be honest and remove the "monthly updates" "at present time"

I certainly hope this game will be finished one day (and not in 10 years beyond). I'd even consider buying it then, but looking at thing right now, it's a black pit for the paying fans.

Don't hope too hard, this is the guy who was kicked out of his own previous project for pulling same shit.

While other developers grind and try to build actual gameplay, Abelius has spent five years making what amounts to a glorified slideshow with dialogue. Yet somehow, instead of focusing on improving his own empty paroject, he finds the time to snipe at other devs who are, god forbid, engaging in real development loops.

This guy just took digs at a rival game’s content direction, only to crawl into another developer’s comment section later, switching tones entirely, pretending to be a fellow supportive creator while leeching off their momentum...

It's one of the scummiest moves you can pull in the dev world. You trash a dev who’s working, then pivot and cling to someone else’s coat-tails the moment you see all the buzz forming. All that while your own project stays frozen like a pizza, unchanged except for the increasingly whiny community posts about what feature you might work on next, maybe, if the stars align...

Maybe there’s a reason he acts like this. Maybe the real problem isn’t game design, it’s the weight of an imaginary abusive ex and overpriced cancer pills that even Spain’s healthcare system won’t touch. Whatever it is, it’s not an excuse to behave like a parasite hiding behind pretentious commentary. Fix your own mess before side-eyeing devs who are actually building something
