That's a thing? I figured that a dev would feel great about pushing out the content, seeing people's reaction, and then going back to add more stuff because... I mean, I guess the whole process is fun for the dev? But apparently that's not the case all the time. That's interesting actually.Completely spot on. The dev enjoys the programming way more than pushing content out, adding more backend features to "make future content easier to add", yet never adding those future content. Feels like me when I mod Skyrim. I enjoy the install process, the troubleshooting if things go wrong, but once everything is installed and working properly, I get bored playing it after a couple of hours..
Also, whenever I try to mod a game, which I finally fucking did after so long, I'm absolutely terrified of breaking the game and having to re-download it. If it were not for some very nice mod manager for the game I was modding I would have been just shitting myself during the process.
