5 years getting paid for ZERO sex scenes?
Yeah, well remember this game had characters? Like the ones in the cafe? Papadakis, Yamado (or whaterver his name), Humper, cop from the beginning?
So, fuck all those characters now we have random guys groping Jenny on a bus, in the massage parlor, on the beach... anywhere else. Now we have bugs and 10 - 15 FPS and I'm definately sure it's not about hardware or software. It's about optimization though it's not even a triple A game where poor publishers don't have enough time and money to polish the game.
No need to develop relationships and scenes with current characters when you can always add a new location or the same location and just random groping guys. And then again and again.
And remember the comix-like pop ups like in the massage parlor with Yamado? Looking good isn't it? Yeah, fuck those too... ehm... just because? I don't know maybe there's a reason but I don't care.
And those "in the next version" choises.

The dev relies on random NPCs so that he doesn't have to flesh them out, or give any sort of backstory, consistent behavior, or any deeper than a puddle of water. Characters means their stories must be made canon, and he doesn't want to deal with that.
Let's take the current version for instance—There could've been a static NPC, like a lifeguard, who offers his sunscreen to the MC every time, so the corruption and the scenes occur with a named character... but instead, random NPCs jokingly enter the scene or spawn right in (not even trying anymore) and just start applying sunscreen on her. There is no build up at the beach, nor explanation anymore, just mindless scenes, because that's what the dev thinks people want.

Judging by this game's content and update timeline history, Sure. I can definitely see this game still being updated

And here, although the other team isn't exactly better, it's where you can see who was right and who was wrong.
It's incredible that in the time that's passed, the Lok team, even though they haven't yet reached the content size they had before the complete engine and design change, at least they already have something that, if you don't count all the previous time, you'd say it's a project at a normal pace.
On the other hand, Abelius, using simpler art and design that faithfully follows the original spirit of the project, not only hasn't done anything significant in all that time, but I highly doubt that with 390 Patreon subscriptions (although that's not a lot compared to other projects), he hasn't been able to afford to hire people, if the real problem is that he's doing everything at a snail's pace on his own.
Again, Team Lok isn't the best, but at least they've already given better results, and at least the new Lok is more enjoyable than this project, which, although it has a good foundation, for the pace and content it has, Team Cherry would have released the sequel to Hollow Knight/Silksong before this project is completed properly.
Speaking of which, instead of wasting time with this half-baked project, I'm going to play Silksong instead, since just like when a new chapter of the Berserker manga comes out, I have to watch it and thank whoever performed a ritual under an eclipse to make such a miracle happen.

I've never heard of G96Area. Is he just trying to say F95Zone without specifically naming the site or is there a separate site that is similar to this one?
Given how shitty dev is at coding (based on his constant excuses about various bugs and issues which he didn't expect in systems that were supposed to be functional for years now) it would be easier to create game from scratch. At this point game is overengineered and dev is focused more on making game systems and building his framework rather than creating actual game.
Let's be honest, this game is not special by any means aside from cute art.
