You say a lot of true things, but you're off topic. The retail price of a game, the honesty of a publisher, or the exploitation of developers by their development studio, for example, has never defined the quality of a game.Everyone should care. A scam isn’t separate from the product, but defines it. If a dev is pocketing $8k a month for filler updates and fake fixes, that’s why the game is still unfinished and buggy. You can’t rate it in a vacuum when the scam is the reason it’s broken to begin with
And yeah, plenty of people are paying, that’s literally what keeps this treadmill running. Many here used to pay too. Without that cash stream, we wouldn’t be stuck watching the same demo get recycled forever
Ratings are about value: what you get versus what was promised. When you’ve got a demo that hasn’t evolved in years, padded with regression, the cost and the scam context directly influence how honest that rating can be. Ignoring the scam context isn’t being objective, it’s just being dishonest
The art was the only part people actually praised. Remove that, and the game loses the one aspect holding it above utter mediocrity. Replacing him doesn’t magically fix the core issues: bugs, butchered content, and zero direction. Swapping artists doesn’t change the fact that the dev can’t code, he already admitted as much, actually boasting that he heavily relies on Playdate. So instead of expanding content, he censors criticism
So yeah, if you want to hand out five stars to a scam that got worse over time, go for it. Just don’t pretend that’s an honest rating
What does define the quality of a game then? "Potential" aka. speculation on things that might come sometime in the future based on schizo ramblings by the project lead like with Tesla stock? Content? In this case it is grindy and barebones. Art? Arguably the best part of this game but hardly worth 5 stars. You say a lot of true things, but you're off topic. A rating is supposed to reflect the game itself, and here there is no game to speak of. This isn’t a finished retail title you can separate from Abe, the scam is the product. What we are talking about is a buggy demo padded with filler, released once every five or six months. No one could seriously call that high quality without laughing. It’s pretending you're about to eat a pizza, when all you have in front of you is a dirty plateYou say a lot of true things, but you're off topic. Potential is not a defining thing, true, but knowing how the game will develop is not something anyone can do. I would have given this game a high rating back then, clearly not now. This is why, honestly, I think that when one reviews an incomplete game they should make it clear which version they played so people know their opinion is based on that one version, as most people don't return to edit their reviews. Now... most people don't even read them either, they just go for it because rating is good so... Happens with everything. What does define the quality of a game then? The fact is that this is a demo that has barely progressed in a long time and people are rightfully questioning the quality and value of the product.
Most quality games on this site have WALKTHROUGHS even ones that are far more easy to figure out. This dev does the bare minimum, takes forever but I really like the style of the game, the corruption and the story so stupid me is going to keep coming back hoping things improve.Could it be that the game design is a bit chaotic ???? Kayla give the MC clothes close to the beginning you can only wear with an exhibitionism of 45 or more, but when you reach 25 you get a message max exhibitionism and same happens with lewd if you reach 25. So everything you buy or get that need 25 or more in lewd or exhibitionism is worthless at the moment.
Then Kayla tells something about a gym in the mall (gym does not exist) or the park to jog, but you can't go there and same with other places like the beach - There is no clear path to follow or a howto provided, playing this game seems to be guesswork and a hell of grinding. Seeing options in the game you can't use is annoying, better let an option appear when it is available. Honestly I'm not interested in reading over 200 forum pages in the hope to get some tips how to continue. Just the amount of people asking for a walkthrough in this thread should be a clear hint for the dev. that something is wrong with the game design. Make at least a decent walkthrough if you are not able to make the game play follow logic.
In the lingerie store. If you have a post 0.15 play through rest multiple times on the bed in the afternoon, this should trigger Kayla to unlock the stores.How/where to buy the bikini for beach? Masseur offered them for 2K, but I didn't have them then. Now I have the money but he doesn't offer bikini anymore. It's absent in shop also.
I believe it used to be possible, but the dev hardcoded it not to be anymore.Could it be that the game design is a bit chaotic ???? cant think of anything else other than the two "new in the cities" games.any other game similar to this one (with character creation, yuri, oldman etc)?
I thought about insexity too but man that one is depressing, I like Pizza hot cuz it's way more lightheartedcant think of anything else other than the two "new in the cities" games.
insexity and unaware something
sad to see this crash. had some hopes for it.
e supposed to be a major bug fix, although f already existanyone know what the difference between v.015.d and .e is?
I disagree with this. If there was a game rating as well as a dev rating on this site, I would totally agree with you. While the purpose of a rating is tell your pleasure or displeasure with the game (i.e. your personal opinion) quality. But reviews are meant to discuss anything related to said game, NOT just the qualities of the game. A great game should be "rated" as such but if you have problems with the developer and you want that information out there and it's still relevant to said game, that's what the "review" is for. To voice likes, dislikes, hopes and disappointment with ALL things related to the game IN-CLU-DING update cycle and dev's focus or lack of on the game.We now agree on the definition of a rating.
But you will note that your opinion (or mine) on the quality of this game remains a very personal opinion. And it is not necessarily the opinion of other players.
Some people enjoyed playing these versions of the game, and we have to accept that. Some people didn't like playing this game, and we have to accept that too. What we should condemn, however, is a rating based on something other than the qualities of the game. That was my point.
yea the beach stuff was completely fucked-bugged on my system. i see they fixed that.e supposed to be a major bug fix, although f already exist
