Does anyone have a solution for this problem: After updating to Windows 11 the older umemaro games (Friends Game & Sex Therapist work) no longer recognize the save file data.ini. The game saves the unlocked scenes that you play through as long as you don't close the game/application but they don't save if you close the game and run it again. I keep the save file in the same folder as the other game files.

i think Dragon Age Origins have same problem with windows 10/11, the save folder or any folder containg with safe file need to set it to allow create/edit file.

note : i forgot how to do it, just search it on google by yourself

Thanks for the suggestion. The problem is indeed that the .exe can't seem to write or edit the data.ini file. I checked my protection settings and I didn't have the controlled folder protection on, I have given full access/rights to the game folder and checked that the .exe also has the same premissions, the files are also not on read only setting.

I didn't have this problem on windows 10 so I am a bit puzzeled. Has anyone managed to fix this issue?
