Honestly, there should be games for everyone. This is a game for masochists who like to see interesting girls get fucked by other people. It has a non-NTR option, but it's clearly meant to be NTR, where I at least want to be Adam, not the protagonist. For me, it's off my list.

It's a bug, yes, all because for some reason the initial quest didn't start for you. Try starting the game again, that should help, the First Days quest should start. Sorry for the inconvenience.
You probably downloaded it before I re-uploaded the file with the fix for this error. Try downloading it again from mega MEGA -

That's odd, I've never encountered that bug before. Does the cursor freeze during gameplay or in the main menu as well? What if you switch the game to windowed mode? Does the keyboard work?
For Kate, stay at the party with Clare, and when you need to find Eve, look in the window of Adam's room.
For Clare, stay with Kate, and then, according to the plot, you will need to steal the recordings from the cameras in Adam's house, where you will find this recording.

Hover over the mouth, keep one finger away on the mouth, and press the interact button with another finger; it should appear on the left.
I'll say the same thing I say with every game that insists on text animations: please add an actual instant text option. Even small delays just start to annoying when it's over and over and over again
