Hi everyone, I have some important news...
Due to personal and financial reasons, I'm unable to continue working and posting my projects.

Pokégirl Paradise and other writing works have been my passion projects for a while now and I'm disappointed in myself that I couldn't see them to fruition. There was so many ideas and scenes I wanted to create in the game, and I simply ran out of steam and expenditure. I like how the game was becoming in the last updates, but the level of quality and quantity, the amount of people I had to pay to work I couldn't spend time on or artists to draw things I couldn't, it simply grew too big for my life and my budget.
Additionally, being on this side of the internet (or any side of the internet by that matter) has drained me and I would like to keep my creative and working life private. I'm afraid I'm simply not happy being online like how I was.

However, I don't want to make all the work I created go to waste, to have no-one enjoy or be inspired by the crazy things I made. Instead, I really would like people to be able to enjoy the content I had created, all of it; I want to light other people's torches and inspire them to continue my work or spinoff in their own unique ways...

I'm deciding to release all of the work I've been creating.

I'm putting everything I've made onto Gumroad and itch.io, so that you can download and see everything and my process. I'm also releasing the project files for everything I've made, the source files so that people can continue onwards what I've started or use it for their own stuff. Inside is also details for my unreleased game, Babysitting Lillie, my various unfinished written pieces and my SillyTavern character cards. I hope you call can use them and enjoy.

Koikatsu Mod Project Files:

Thank you everyone for supporting me so far, I'm honoured by your patronage and appreciation for what I've made.
Goodbye for now - Slormo.

I have to say, selling unfinished products for a higher price than most finished indie games is quite the concept.

"I won't finish any of my games, but I want money them to be accessible to all (and your money, mostly your money actually, don't mind the fact I just said I was abandoning them and they will never be finished, just gib moonies)"

You also concede a commercial use license to use... Illusion assets, that aren't yours, Illusion that is not offering a commercial use license, this is another interesting concept.

Just tried to buy the Project Files on Itch via Paypal and keep being told "Please check your account with your card issuer before retrying this card." Not sure if it has anything to do with the recent Itch.io/Mastercard & Visa bullcrap that started happening (probably) but I really didn't think it would effect me using Paypal as well. If true, what absolute nonsense!

Koikatsu (by Illusion) is a commercial game, and its assets (models, textures, animations) are not licensed for commercial redistribution. This means you can’t legally sell a game that directly uses Koikatsu’s 3D models, character data, or resources, because they belong to Illusion.
I guess dev found out about it.

Also you didnt stop patreon subs while hiatus time. Subscribtions are not stopped even yet.

Paying to artists? Your game CGs are not drawing, its just koikatsu, if you cant learn how to create some models in blender (It's a free software with 1000000 guides on yt) and import it to KK in 3 years, you are wasted. I mean, you took up to 18 months for an update, could take the time to learn.
But if you pay to make KK scenes and assets, pay to write renpy code and pay for blender models for a small project like this, it makes sense you ran out of money. But is it still your game then? Or just sponsored by you?

I get it, you dont become much from patreon, but its fine for new dev that makes like 0 updates in a year, without any finished games or builded fanbase.

As others have said, $10 (where I live, $15) for an unreleased game is pure madness. If you've stopped posting entirely, simply put everything up for free- you're not doing anything with it, damn near no one is going to buy them, so may as well release them publicly as you did with v.10. And also like other's have said, you cannot put something up for sale that is LITERALLY just Koikatsu models. Right your wrongs and post the files- bare minimum the mentioned "Babysitting Lillie" game, as that's the main thing people would be interested in.
