I recently discovered this remake is in the making after having seen the original almost a decade ago. I know with the original, it was planned to be a long and multi-year in-game project with multiple routes between school years depending on your academic focus, friend and romance group, and choices made. As the project went on however, its intended scope was shorted from multiple years and routes to one year and fewer routes, then a few months with no real route difference beyond what characters you talk to, and then a month with minimal differences, and near the end of just a week before the project died. This was all in order to try to make the project workable within the scale given.
That bit of history given with what I remember of it, anyone know what scale the remake intents to go to? How ambitious are they planning for? "Remake" doesn't really tell me what they intend to do since the original went through multiple iterations of plans. Thank you if you guys answer this.

i didn't lol i had to restart an old save or make a fresh save that had a pikachu with freelectric

At the moment, 52 weeks are planned. New characters are added over time. The project is handled mostly by one person (except for the artists and some fan help from time to time) There are some branches (for example, Clara's branch), but we are actually at the beginning of the journey only. Nevertheless, the game is fascinating and has enough content. I recommend you try it if you haven't played.
With the new catacomb location, 20 new Pokemon have been added.

It's a duo leveling system, first you'll need to raise the elective class based on the Pokemon's typing first (if they have two types, you only need to focus on one type), after that it's basically leveling the Pokemon normally, but they are capped at the level of your electives (example being if elective is 5, but your pokemon is 15, it won't gain more levels until its elective type is higher, but if the pokemon is level 5 and you have an elective of its type at 15, you can raise that pokemon to level 15).

tbh i quit i kinda like the story but that last battle against dawn i alwas lose no matter what i do the maker of this should put a easy mode good game but to frustrating
There's nothing complicated there. All you had to do was check the rules of the interaction of the elements and choose the type that nullifies her attacks. Fairy, Flying, Ghostly and Normal. (strictly in that order) Then Pikachu awakens the "story" move and wins with a single attack. If you have any difficulties, feel free to ask here or better yet at discord.
Check to see your pickachu's ability is free electric. Sometimes the Pikachu you get is an basic one that will have static or lightning rod. Cuz that happened to me as well.
What exactly do you mean, are you bugged and can't use the feature or is she beating pikachu before you even reach this interaction?
I haven't come across it myself, but I've seen mentions of a bug related to Pikachu's ability. If it's something other than Freeelecrtic, then that's probably the problem. The developer promises to fix it in the future, but at this point you'll probably have to start over to get through.
