i guess im thinking everything is moving really fast now. I actually really liked the MC change, after finding out it was not permeate. it developed the other characters really well i thought. I would like to know how far into the game I am. I would also like to know if this game is still being developed. thanks

Answering your question, the game is currently in development, but perhaps the release of the next update will be delayed as the developer has encountered some difficulties in real life and this will have a slight impact on development. Currently, you should have completed half or less than half of the available content at the time of the election. If we talk about character development, then in the future you will also be able to see the point of view on their behalf. The goal is to show the characters' lives as a whole instead of focusing entirely on MC (although he will still be the main character most of the time)

Maybe you're just unlucky. It takes me several attempts to complete each contest myself. I advise you to add priority boosting and lowering techniques to your arsenal. This helps to pick up the last stars from the judges, giving you more points. Also, do not forget that the points are tripled in rounds 5 and 10, so it is especially important to take the stars or prevent your opponents from doing so.

Well thanks for the tips, good to know it's mostly bad luck, guess I will try a few more times... still, it's kinda frustating. And not the good kind like that battle you can only use your pikachu against the entire team of your rival, playing around the liberation limit and the possible abilities to win that fight was difficult but satisfying, here you just use whatever is good for the round and hope for the best rng result, even if you got the right pokemon and balanced moves.

The full game should be around 36 weeks, the current update is week 10 which means almost 1/3 of the game is finished. Updates at the beginning took around 1 month, now it takes 3-5 months with the next update and any future updates probably going to take longer due to 1. current life issues, and 2. the main developers are getting married at some point. The last bugfix update was on the 24th and it was probably the 8th? bugfix and that took about most of the month to do, so when the game is finally completed it may take a few weeks to a month to actually get the full experience due to bugs.

Attend classes of the appropriate element. Focus on two at first, then add new ones as needed. By the end of the game, you will have 6 complete types at your disposal. Choose carefully which classes you want to attend.

Hope that's the case, the dungeons were a nice change of pace, unlike the current state of the contests. It's not that I have no interest in them, it's just that there is way too much randomness happening so it's nearly impossible to actually make a good strategy. At one point you are at the top of the world, keeping a steady pace in 1st place, then all of sudden one (or more) of the others get a shitload of points and you are thrown to the 4th place with little to no chance to make a comeback...

This is a scripted battle where your Pikachu should pull through (if you don't agree with Lance's plan, which is basically a Bad End) but due to bug in current game build the battle can become unwinnable for some players. Check last few pages of this thread for details, as well as a work-around fix someone made.

No clue, i have the game still in my backlog. Easy way to check though, load a saved game with the error and see if your Pikachu has "Freelectric" ability, or something else.

edit Pikachu's ability directly in the pokedex file. Alternatively, you can download the latest version of the game and the game will do it itself.

The characters you see on the screen during the contests do not show your points, but the order of actions. For example, you are fouth, so you will walk fourth.
