I realize this is like a nitpick-y question but it just popped into my head when I was fucking around in debug to see the shinies.

Is it viable to add variant sex scenes to show your Pokemon is shiny?

Like maybe you guys are already planning to do that but it's just down the list of priorities. IDK how Essentials or any computer jargon actually works so maybe in my laymans knowledge it's harder than just "Scene start. Check if shiny. >Yes, use shiny images >No, use normal images.". Maybe it is that easy in other stuff but Essentials doesn't do it.

Anyways hope I don't annoy you guys with the question, like the game whether there's shinies or not just thought it might be a cool thing that could be added in. Here's an example for the long winded question.

I like what you are saying. But making different artwork for the shinies is not something we have planned at the moment. The art already takes a long time to make.
Also it is not that simple since quite a few events, for example Lopunny's second event, gives you a different lopunny to use wich is not shiny.
Maybe its something we can look at in the future when we are close to the end of the game.

Ah yeah I forgot there are segments of the game where you play as the Pokemon or are given quest specific move sets.

If it's something that might actually be considered for future builds I probably wouldn't mind just recoloring the already existing artwork. Like I only really looked at Lopunny and it seems like her artwork uses the same sets of colors in all of them.

I mean I just did it in Paint with the color pick and fill tool and it only took me longer than it did cause I had to find the right colors for the lighting and shadows with the shiny version. Like if the example I gave was fine and now that I got the right shiny colors I could probably do all the Lopunny images in 30+ mins.

Edit: Ah... I looked at more 'mons than just Lopunny and some of them the images aren't as "pixelated" and the colors are blended/smudged when there's shading/lighting. Like I couldn't do what I did with Lopunny for;

-Nymphlora
-Vaporeon
-Vexinni

But every other Pokemon is fine. But there's not any shiny sprites for Tsarevniya, Drakaiden, and Viruark for reference so the only ones I could really do are Allerita, Lopunny, and Gardevoir. I mean I'm still down to do the 3, 6 if they get shiny sprites, that I can but I wouldn't be able to the scenes with the newer art style approach.

Do the normal save editors for rpg maker work on the game? From the first post, while the CG looks nice the dev seems like a gatekeeping asshole and i don't want to deal with their bullshit.

If anyone knows where the game stores save files it would be nice to know.

yes, normal save editors work, though as always use them at your own risk. if you want to cheat, you don't have to justify that. default save location on Windows is:
C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\Pokemon H version

no, it's a reward for actually playing the game. the reason for that postscript is to warn people who expect the game to be as easy as, or even easier than, GameFreak's, with the hope that they won't come in and complain about how they have to actually play the game in order to get to the sex. now obviously, that didn't work; there have been a lot of people coming in to complain that the game actually has gameplay, and every single one of them sound just as dumb as you.

I always find messages like this really funny from developers. Like, do you really think people play RPGM games legitimately? Especially porn games? Your audience can't even read. Either way now I'm inspired to use the extremely easy ways to cheat on RPGM for fun out of spite. What an idiot.

So I've tried all the solutions on the FAQ, I've tried the ones posted on the disclaimer for the game, and I've searched this thread as well before posting. Nothing seems to work so just wondering if anyone has seen this before/if you have a solution! Thanks

So you are the first person with this issue, so we arent sure if its related to the game or if its a system issue. For now, I would like to ask you to clear your save folder except for the main save you use. Redownload and re extract the game to a folder directly on your desktop. See if that fixes it for now.
