Is the fight against Sayoko meant to be absurdly brutal?

Her Mimikyu is an utter menace with Pain Split AND Shadow Sneak, most of the Pokémon you can encounter start off knowing nothing but Normal moves, and she gets a Super Potion!

Edit: There are some slightly better Pokémon (Sandile, Chansey, and Sandshrew) on the Route to the north, but still—it's very funny that the first trainer battle is so hard.

I agree with chuckle the battle with Sayoko is ridiculously hard to to face with the Mimikyu especially when it also has a Berry Juice it can drink if you don't have Fennikan take that but having Pain Split is a real annoyance when you're close to beating it and it does that.

Another grievience I have is pokemon seeming to have the actual capture rate for it, I wasted so many calls to catch Chansey that was on a slither of health but it just kept popping out.

Enjoyed the Game and I personally enjoyed the difficulty, I expected regular pokemon level when I went into the hex fight and oh boi was I shid on.
Some notes
Walking feels very janky I'm not sure if it can be tuned but it doesn't feel super responsive to quick inputs could just be an engine thing.
Please add a way to run in the future.
Curious which game system your using for move pools/ when pokemon learn moves or if its all custom.
Looking forward to future updates friend!

You can get pretty quick lv11 on your starter, you learn nasty plot
Mimikyu always start with 2 baby eyes which drop your attack stat (he waste two turn)

If you use 2 nasty plot, you can easily two shot him and the next pokemon, your Magician ability let you take his berry aswell. + You will probably outspeed him at lv11, or at least speedtie

I beat with some luck
I think you need over level against her
mimikyu phase is pretty hard because Hex maniac can easily just use a super potion and undo mimikyu health
and she likes to spam that one skill I forgot but it does have duck spinning?

i use aron with leftover because mimikyu is weak to steel( i think you need lucky with AI trainer choosing skill)
as for misdreavus
just throw everything at it but I do remember I used sandile and Fennekin at it

I wish the game had a button to look trainer's Pokemon skill and moveset

If you want to use debug mode, you need to extract the rgssad file with a utility like and move the folders with the loose files into the game folder. Then you can create a shortcut and append debug outside the quotes in the target field as usual.

Oh neat, a Pokemon parody porn game.
Here's hoping it doesn't get abandoned like the hundreds of other poke porn parodies.
