I used to play a lot on my PC.
But when you're not alone most of the time you are forced playing on a phone.

I'll explain myself:
as a college student, I share one bedroom with another student and I just cannot fap while he is here.
So, from time to time, I grab my phone and go to the bathroom doing my thing.

I play mostly on my phone. Just like the person above most of the time I don't have a luxury of being alone at home, so I also just grab my phone and go to the bathroom to wank off. Otherwise I'd probably play on PC only.

I fail to see how going to the bathroom and locking your self in makes you any more alone. But I guess desperate times call for desperate measures.

It doesn't make me any more alone, but at least it gives me a little privacy.
What I am saying is that your roommate knows what you are doing. And you know he knows. And he knows you know that he knows. I just couldn't ever even watch porn if someone else was in the house with me.

I rarely use my mobile. I have only used it a few times for when I knew I would be away from home for days without wifi, and only for a few Ren'Py games like Back to the Cabin and Devilish Business I think.... may have been more but those were the better options.

I play some non adult games on my phone but very very rare most likely because I'm sitting in the train or something similar and I'm bored.

I got a windows tablet and it's great for renpy and html games, it works for some unity games but others - oh, man.
Imagine this - a game starts fullscreen and ask you to press a key or input some text, but you only have a on-screen keyboard and need to press a icon on the taskbar to show it -FML.

I try to but it's so buggy, I usually just end up with a headache and turn off my tablet and go back to playing on my laptop.

No. This survey is not scientific by any means. It doesn't seek proper sampling, there is self-selection, and so forth. But here are some more reliable statistics:

The global mobile gaming market size accounted for USD 184.4 billion in 2022 and is expected to hit around USD 775.69 billion by 2032.

In 2022, mobile gaming accounted for 45% of total video gaming revenue worldwide. Mobile gaming continues to rise quickly in popularity around the globe.

In the Mobile Games market, the number of users is expected to amount to 2.32bn users by 2027.

Over 6 billion people own a smartphone of some kind
Over 2 billion computers in the world, including servers, desktops, and laptops
Over 142 million gaming consoles

Activision-Blizzard reported in their Q3 2022 figures that their mobile share stood at 52% of their overall revenue, with Take-Two reporting similar figures.

When all is said and done, due to emerging and burgeoning markets in Asia and Africa with smartphones (as well as Europe, North America, South America, and the South Pacific growth) - the smart money for developers is to think "mobile first" in their game design.

After trying out one game with an official Android port... I'd rather not repeat the experience, and it definitely felt compromised compared to playing the PC version. The port was good, but touch controls are dogshit basically no matter what, and in general you sacrifice a lot for that portability. I feel sorry for people whose only gaming experience is on such an awful platform.
