I find that there are certain time slots when only 1 or 2 events are happening and at other time slots when there seems to be 15 events happening. Weekends are crazy, not enough of me to get to all the events I would like to get to.
There is one quest I just cannot do. With Helena there is the event Night Pool. It says I should swim in the pool from 7PM to Midnight. This ends up being a sleepover so I cannot do another event that evening. There is also an event for Helena and Kately to swim in the pool from 7pm to 10 pm. Every single time I swim in the pool the Night Pool event comes up and I have tried so many times to refresh it but the other event never comes up.

It's only going to get crazier! My vision is to continually add content, so every time slot should be more content filled as I release updates to my game.
Some events will have a way out, some will not. Sometimes falling asleep after sex is part of being with a girl, sometimes it's not. That's the way I'm doing the events. Perhaps in the future I could adjust some current events to add "ways out", but this will not be for quite some time (I have waaaay too much to do at the moment).
As recommended by several other posters I will be doing something to promote new events over existing repeatable events that have already been done.
As far as Padma's friend, yes, that will be one of the new girls. Most of the 30 new girls will have no current story relation, but I'm trying my best to fully integrate them into the island, including connections/ties to the existing 69 girls where I can.

It's the end of May and it's time for my final monthly update prior to the end of June release for v0.20 of my game.
New Girls Designed : 30 / 30 (100%)
New Girls in Game/Finalized : 30 / 30 (100%)
New Girls Sex Scenes : 28 / 60 (46.7%)
Scenes for original 69 girls : 42 / 69 (60.9%)
It's getting close to release time! I've only got four more girls who need a repeatable sex scene (the count above includes 2 girls with 2 sex scenes a piece). I'm definitely not getting to 2 sex scenes each for every girl, but I'm happy that I'll get to them all!
I also have an announcement as far as the release date of v0.20. I will be releasing v0.20 sometime between June 25th and June 30th. A bit more specific than the vague "end of June" I've been working with so far!
Just one more month to go and it'll be out to you all! I cannot wait to get out this version of the game to you. I think you all are going to really like it.
I'm really enjoying making this game and I'm grateful for all of you that are looking forward to the release of v0.20 so much.

All 30 new girls finally have repeatable sex scenes in the v0.20 version of the game! I'm so excited! It's one thing to assume I'd get there, and another entirely to finally make it.
So, for the next 10 to 14 days I'll be filling in all the gaps and checking all my code. The game is ready already, and it's just a few final polishes before I get it out to you all.
I look forward to its release, and I hope you're looking forward to it, too.

The main focus will be on the 30 new girls, for sure, but there will be some new features, such as a new and improved renaming menu on the Master Bedroom computer and the opportunity to buy flowers for girls at S'Mart for those girls that you've made angry!
I'm hoping to add a feature or two in the coming days as part of the "polish" before release.
Hopefully it goes well and is well received by all!
I really like your game, good luck on the upcoming release, I'll definitely play it!

v0.20 will be releasing sometime between June 25th and June 30th, most likely closer to the beginning of that range than the end. That's 3 to 8 days from now.

Update v0.20 is now out!
The 99 Girls Update has now added 30 girls into the game for you to discover and enjoy!
I've also taken the time to improve the game in several ways, increasing its polish and hopefully making it a better experience for everyone.
I wasn't able to get all 69 original girls into this update, but I did get 47 of them in! Most of these are small, minor events but others are a bit more than that.
There is a bit of duplication in the event counts but there's certainly a ton of content to explore in this update! I hope you all really enjoy it.
One thing for those continuing the game from a full save... there's a very minor retcon. Very mild spoilers in spoiler text:
For translators and modders, here are the places in the old code where things have been changed (it's a lot this time):
