This game is like brazil, just promises but nothing really happens.
Is this the NSFW version? for some reason it seems to be the SFW version (64 bit) I d/l from NOPY

I can only imagine if the trend keeps going the way they've been going that, in a couple of months in march, we're gonna have a few added dialogue lines, maybe another dead meme as an easter egg and another engine update. They'll call it progress and people are gonna eat it up.
This game is like Thailand- just promises pussies and you only see dicks.
Tiarawhy and Spookitty do 2 games at the same time, they work (fight) with engine and can't progress when the money fall from heaven.

...? Lack of updates? We did a full sweep of the game, new animations, new sprites, new music, a thorough rework of the story, all launched on a new custom platform.
New CONTENT comes AFTER everything else, otherwise it's just shitty content, like many, many games out there.
And as stated before, this is not an Adult game in the same sense as PWS or many other games on this site. The majority of our support comes from those that want an engaging and immersive world, and that's where we will focus on first and foremost. Those looking for a quick and dirty clop, please look elsewhere. Sex is not nor will it ever be the focus of the game. It's a happy byproduct.
(Meh, if we were doing cheap and easy porn, this game would be a cakewalk.)
That being said for those curious- Yes! There will be a public update, every whole release number. (0.4, 0.5, 0.6, etc.).

I'm pretty miffed they trimmed the NSF content in the revamp too but the design document does say it's intended to be a Pony game, NSFW content is a bonus, not a key feature.

We stated it's an 18+ game. We clarified that there will be both SFW and NSFW versions, and I literally just said, in public, right where EVERYONE can see it, Sex is not our selling point. I even explicitly said that if you're looking for a quick clop, go elsewhere. There are plenty of other avenues for it.

Ha. I haven't made a dime on this project yet. It's being fed into development costs, at least my portion (because we are a team of three, plus contractors, new voice actors, collaborators, and maintaining business services like Unity and CC Animate.)
This is a Life-Sim with a VN wrapper, and we removed the current NSFW content because it wasn't impactful, it certainly didn't have any emotion, and had no purpose, nor was it really rewarding. There will be NSFW content- When it has impact, purpose, and can be presented tastefully.
Oh! IN FACT, if you look on the patreon, during one of those weekly updates I mentioned (gosh, those sure are a good way to see what we've been doing and what those funds go towards) -

My opinion on the matter and no offense intended but, on the technical standpoint, you might've improved everything, which might rightfully be something to be proud of.
I, however, do not see this the same way.
I don't make games, all I see is the content and what was there and what was removed. I first found the game which introduced the pink one's plot (literally) right after getting off the train.
We then trudge around the show's iconic town, meeting familiar characters, then the demo ends.
Visually, mechanically and progressively, for someone that just follows the game updates, there has been no relevant plot progress beyond the tour, with the exception of some irrelevant nsfw bits removed since it's not the focus of your team.
But that's all I saw and experienced, despite having tried the 2-3 uploaded versions.
For people that have been burned by other projects they supported on patreon and got nothing but claims of engine being rebuild to make things better, bug fixes and plot rewrites and getting nothing but a cancelled project, you can see why this project only screams to some of us of seemingly broken and empty promises.
The Cathouse tale team was one such project which ended in massive disappointment for many and one of the few reasons people see this as a cash grab like so many other projects.

TLDR : I'm a tech-tard and didn't see plot progress since 2-3 updates in a very long time, and my insignificant feelings were hurt in the past so I'm a fragile little person that voiced his opinion.

Can't really say anything about it though other than 'keep watching, we're going places'. Don't even have to be a patron for that. Can watch quietly until you're convinced. ^^
