oh man didn't even think of that, EVEN more delays, what a headachechange of engine again?, you know because of the serious shit it's happening with unity in this last year xd

Did you came from 2018?) During these five years of "developement" was (finished?) one character out of six "planned"..Nice game, i will watch it progress with great intrest
Yes, good game, but it's been 5 years and only one pony finished, I'll say it's better not to follow the game constantly, and come back in like 2 years to see a decent amount of content, if you're lucky maybe they'll finish another ponyNice game, i will watch it progress with great intrest
who is the finished pony?, and do you know what continues after we recover the crown with Blue Fast?Yes, good game, but it's been 5 years and only one pony finished, I'll say it's better not to follow the game constantly, and come back in like 2 years to see a decent amount of content, if you're lucky maybe they'll finish another pony
purple smart is finshed (90% sure, might add more, but more or less, finished)who is the finished pony?, and do you know what continues after we recover the crown with Blue Fast?
Twilight sparkle, and after you recover the crown nothing more about that, just come back and continue speak with herwho is the finished pony?, and do you know what continues after we recover the crown with Blue Fast?
If you ask about why so long, (short) change of engine rewrite all the code idk how many times but 5 yearsGame started development in 2018. It is currently 2023 and still not done. MLP:FiM has since been cancelled. Many such cases and I laugh.
I'm not asking. I'm laughing. They bit off more than they could chew. They also aren't the only "Let's make a porn game out of an established IP" who can't seem to finish their game. Same thing, bit off more than they could chew.If you ask about why so long, (short) change of engine rewrite all the code idk how many times but 5 years
(long version) second the biggest problem it's the coding, the art can be made fast not so long, but no idea why the code takes so long, I think all the time (2018 until now) they're just 2 working in the game, and one more thing, the artist it's mittsies, old artist famous for 2014 good animations and short games obviously a artist with a lot of experience drawing and animations of furries, in 2018 they form the pony waifu team and they continue until now, slowly but not so secure I guess xd
if im not incorrect, the problem was the unity thing about the money and the gamesIf code is really their issue they should just ask for help. This type of game isn't particularly difficult to code/develop, especially if you're using an engine like Unity. Very few variables to track, simple coding, mostly just switching scenes/background images or transitioning between premade animation states on clicking prefab buttons, etc. Even for someone like me with very limited dev experience that would be trivial.
Art dev, animations, and other asset development is always the worst part of game development (imo).
I'm sorry, but I had never heard of Trials In Tainted Space, but looking at it now it doesn't appeal to me at all, but looking at its earnings something obvious is noticeable, in addition to the ugly aesthetics, if the game is constantly updated. and you are active in the community, you can get a good community, and besides a good game, you get a lot of money and an active community, it may seem easy, but it seems that it is more difficult than we think because there are not so many developers who make that ._.Meh, guys, seriously, what the hell are you talking about? Are you trying to somehow explain five years of development, during which they made fifty minutes of 2d text-based gameplay?
Maybe you say same thing about Trials In Tainted Space? (a purely text-based game that has been in development for more than seven years)
This is not a question of complexity. This is not a question of "Bitten off more than they could chew".
It's a matter of diligence and honesty. (how many excuses will you look for, and how long will you drag out the time to get money on the Patron)
Friendship with benefits was made by one person in a year and a half. Scenario, music, backgrounds, writing, painting.
I don't even care about stealed assets (its already established IP, why the heck to care?), as long as it looking good.
And even more, I'm subscribed to a lot of games that were developed faster, despite the fact that they have actual gameplay - 2d or 3d, platforming or rpg.
Why are you trying to justify that they are stalling? Just subscribe to them when they work, and unsubscribe when a few months of silence begins again. This is the only way to make such groups work.![]()
