I agree with the dev on this and i am now annoyed that i came in here looking for cheating content only to find it is only insignificantly present. At least, THIS TIME, i haven't wasted time downloading and playing the game.
Tags should only be for significant content. No 'cheating' tag if it happens in one throwaway prologue scene in the first update that was published 6 years ago, no 'female protagonist' tag if the perspective switches to a woman for 10% of every 4th update, etc.
If you do tag systems that way, you force people to have to guess if that's actually gonna be a part of the game and then come waste their and other people's time bogging down threads with questions and clarifications. It's a very foolish and inefficient way to do things.

Multi protaganists games never go well. Focus on the male or female. Too much switching back and forth will result in disjointed story with elements not pleasing to anyone.

I've mentioned before that I plan to make it possible to play as only one protagonist. Perhaps focusing on fully developing at least one storyline to a playable state might improve the situation. Thats exactly what I'll do. The next update will focus on solo content and will introduce an option in the menu to choose a character for solo play - Dutch or Kate. The question is, which character should this update focus on? The MMC or the FMC?

I haven't thought about it yet. I'm not sure if it's necessary since all the dialogues in the novel are currently not voiced. Maybe someday there will be enough money for good VA. But I'd prefer to do it along with the dialogue voiceovers. Meaning, at some point, Dutch might be moaning too.Will the game have Kate's moaning audio in the future?

Ok, but... I'm not talking about voiced, just moans during sex scenes. As happens in many other games. The game "New Neighborhood 0.2" for example, has no character voices, only moans in the sex scenes.

Still quite early to make a good judgement. As long as both are going to do their own serious investigation, I wouldn't mind the regular storyline role switches similar like in a tv show. Decisions in some other novellas are often so minor and irrelevant that they could work as kinetic one too. It all depends how the story is planned for the future how important each role becomes, what each one is capable to achieve.
Anyway, good writing so far!
Only the lewd scenes were somewhat awkwardly lengthy to click through. Several short 2-4 frame loop sequences after each other to quickly click through would be better.

IMO you should follow your vision and stop trying to please the noisy plebs, or you will turn your VN into shit with no clear direction or vision.
People should stop playing game types they don't like and bitching about it.
I don't run around in a bunch of point and click games threads and bitch and moan how point and click is bad and they should change it.
In this case, we're only talking about changing the updates – after adding content for the FMC, must be an update with content for the MMC because the story is designed in such a way that we need two paths.
As for doing everything the way the audience wants – to keep the audience happy (judging by events of the past six months), I’d need to make a game with AI, a sandbox, lots of grinding, tiny updates every two weeks, and a school-and-incest storyline
But not this time The script is written, and I’m not going to change it. However, there’s still plenty of room in the story to add interesting routes, optional events, or alternative endings. That’s why I read EVERYTHING you write
